  1. Personally, the time period from the end of the NFL draft until I do my fantasy football draft (usually a week or two before Week 1 of the regular season) is baseball season for me. I went to my first Reds game last weekend; my first since before the pandemic. I figured I'd balance out my high expectations for the upcoming Browns season by watching my beloved Reds continually disappoint me.
  2. You mean turnabout? Sure. Then it'll be fair play again for Democrats when it's a Republican in question. And conservatives such as yourself will gnash their teeth and rend their clothes in outrage over how Leftists are ignoring innocence until proven guilty. And on and on the wheel continues to spin. Both sides are hypocrites.
  3. Is this not the same tactic - accusing someone of sexual misconduct and the news blowing it up - that conservatives were up in arms about when leftists did the same thing to Trump and Kavanaugh? Where is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law?
  4. Poor kid is going to be speaking Chinese because his grandparents sold his future out for extra foldin' money. Too bad.
  5. With the exception of Trump, none of those people you mentioned were Baby Boomers. Also, Gerald Ford was 6'0".
  6. She's doing no worse than Pelosi or McConnell or the vast majority of Boomer politicians who are abusing their offices to their benefit. They're all pieces of shit. The difference is Boomer politicians have been pieces of shit decades now, and are stubbornly sticking to the toilet bowl no matter how many times you jiggle the handle. But, that's the Boomer generation, in general, for you: inherent the greatest economy and government in human history and proceed to drive both into the ground in order to feed their greed.
  7. Honestly, I just wish all you baby boomers - Democrats, Republicans, etc - would just take the hint to leave office already. Since they took the reins of government in the mid 80s, Boomers have continually proven themselves to be utter dog shit when it comes to running a government, at all levels.
  8. So there's people out there who don't feel like they're represented by either the Republican or Democrat parties and want a viable 3rd option?
  9. Seems like you're off your prescription meds again and back on Grandpa's old cough syrup. It's actually nice to see some things don't change much whilst I'm away.
  10. This board is a microcosm of the politics of America in general. I find it's best summed up by a slightly tweaked lyric from Stealers Wheel: "Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right Here I am Stuck in the middle and screwed..."
  11. Business Insider: The US is sitting on millions of unused doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, and says it won't share them with countries that might need them more
  12. I'm a firm believer in UFOs and aliens. I see them all the time when I eat mushrooms.
  13. Let's do entitlement reform. Trimming the fat on Medicare and doing away with the Ponzi scheme that is Social Security would free up alot of proverbial salary cap on the US's books.
  14. For sure. I'm a first time homebuyer, so I definitely don't want to spend $140k on a run down dump that was going for less than $100k 18 months ago. I know that houses increase in value overall, but the market is pretty artificially inflated now. There's going to be a glut of houses in the near future when the stimmy checks stop coming and the banks are allowed to collect overdue house payments again.
  15. I'm just biding my time until the housing bubble inevitably pops and housing prices stop being so overinflated.
  16. I believe the biggest inconvenient truth is that the United States of America died a long time ago, and that most people are just now starting to realize it.
  17. Full disclosure: I voted for Trump in 2020 and Gary Johnson in 2016. Every other presidential election since I was first eligible to vote in 2004 I voted Democrat. What leads you to believe that Trump was responsible for the actions of those Capitol rioters? Just curious.
  18. Cleveland.com: Browns fan Tom Seipel, who was flown to Cleveland to see Browns Week 17 win over Pittsburgh, dies following battle with cancer Seipel leaves behind a wife and young daughter. If you haven't already, please donate to his GoFundMe to help his family out in this difficult time. Us Browns fans take care of our own: GoFundMe for the family of Tom Seipel

  20. Fuck all you old geezers. Im holding the line on Gamestop and Dogecoin and taking money from your retirement accounts with me to the moon. GenXers and Millennials are starting to wake up and take back their slice of the pie you old fucks have been hoarding. 💎 👐
