  1. Unfortunately, this is where we are as a society. There can be a piece of videographic evidence that tells the truth but people will bend and shape reality to their liking. I been arguing with people about whether the hit on DTR was clean or not, the video speaks for itself. You can see DTR's helmet clearly move as he is contacted by the defender and his chin strap moving up into his mouth from the defenders helmet, probably what caused his bloody lip. It's in the rule book "forcible contact to the head/neck area" But there are always people out there that just deny everything if it's something they don't like. I bet there's even people on here that will defend that hit. I just wanna know why year in and year out our opponents rough up our players like this and nothing ever gets done about it. I saw Fitzpatrick didn't play in our game against the Steelers, I bet everyone's knees were safe that day😏 20231127_202921_1_1.mp4
  2. Which is another reason to keep him on the sidelines as long as possible.
  3. Is it the same shoulder he injured when he wrecked his car? Just wondering if it's something that is going to linger for the rest of his life?
  4. In regards to DTR, he has made significant strides between his starts. His effort against the Broncos was a good one maybe even a winning effort if it wasn't for the injury. It was a 5 point game when he left, still within striking distance. He had two TD's dropped. But people are critisizing DTR. Some stupid people floating around this board....
  5. Or those that don't understand why Flacco isn't activated yet, you DO NOT want Joe Flacco starting ANY regular season games! Unless the Browns move on from PJ Walker and bring in someone else, our QB's are DTR, PJ Walker, Flacco, and Harrison Bryant in an emergency. DTR getting hurt is like breaking a mirror kind of bad luck. I know they may have to elevate Flacco to the roster but it's something you shouldn't want. Ideally, the Browns needs the defense to do their thing DTR/Walker to get as many wins as possible and Flacco should only see the field in the post-season. Joe Flacco will not make it to the end of the season behind that line. If both DTR and Flacco go down before the playoffs, we are (like the guy said in the movie American Sniper) "fucked like a football bat"
  6. Just for the record, nobody really wants Flacco starting. It's unfortunate DTR got hurt. Now the Browns may have to start him just to stave off any kind of losing skid. If Flacco gets hurt, then what? Does anyone really want PJ Walker or Harrison Bryant starting a playoff game for the Browns? We can only hope DTR is back ASAP.
  7. More dropped passes, one TD dropped by Cooper. This game could look very different. This is why the Browns can't have nice things. DTR looked awful in his first start, showed some clutch last week, and is now expected to be CJ Stroud this week. I think it's safe to say DTR has better wheels than Flacco and look what happened to him. I'm sure a 38 year old pocket passer who just got here a few days ago will do much better.
  8. Anybody that doesn't think DTR isn't improving is high. He looked worse that DeShone Kizer against the Ravens. Led a winning drive against Pittsburgh, and threw his first touchdown pass this game. How is that not improvement? Don't see how that player that laid that hit on DTR to knock him out of the game doesn't get fined. How can DTR have a bloody lip and a concussion and that not be a dirty hit?
  9. The Browns really can't have anything nice. Almost every impact player the Browns have are out injured. Pretty soon they will be putting ads in the paper for help wanted. It really is hard being a Browns fan.
  10. Just another thought, this team has fully bought in. You can tell by their play and the kind of games that we have won. This is starting to feel like a move that will keep them believing if we continue to have adversity at QB. A Super Bowl MVP that can step in and lead and make plays. They need to do everything they can to get Flacco up to speed and keep DTR in as long as possible.
  11. Smart move. I don't it would be a great idea elevating him until they feel like he has a good grasp of things. No need to rush things.
  12. I don't think anyone expects Flacco to start when they signed him. The plan would be to keep him on the practice sqaud as long as possible so he can learn the offense. It's going to be DTR unless he can't go or COMPLETELY shits the bed which I don't expect given his progress from the Baltimore game. Then it will be PJ Walker, then if need be Flacco. If we do make a playoff run, we will need that experience to have any kind of chance. The video I posted wasn't about hyping Flacco but more to show that he can still lead and make throws. I can sleep easier knowing he's around if it comes to that.
  13. Day got outcoached again. They (OSU) ran the ball down Michigan's thoat and scored a TD. Then they come out and pass and punted. I don't understand why coaches have trouble sticking to what worksπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Just do it until they stop it. And the TD after the Michigan player injury, what where they doing the whole time the guy was down on the field? Good job of standing around with their thumbs up their asses.
  14. This. The video I posted was only a year ago. He was carving up the Browns secondary with ease, and he has a couple passes to Elijah Moore, which is also a plus. Because we already have a receiver that he's familiar with. I don't think Joe lost it yet, just needs to be brought up to speed on the offense.
  15. Make Stefanski the next Mike Tomlin, John Harbaugh, Bill Belichick. Sign him long term! He has passed all the tests in my eyes.
  16. DTR is officially undefeated against the Steelers. Let's hope that will continue for many years to come.
  17. I'm not banging on DTR, I was just wondering why they gave up on Dobbs twice for DTR because he had a good preseason. Just wondering why they were willing to trust a 5th round rookie who was one hit away from starting? And DTR did look terrible in his first start, but in his defense, he wasn't properly prepped. He made good progress from the Ravens and beat a good Steelers defense. I'm happy for him.
  18. Not trashing DTR, I'm glad he got his first win, but I really want to know what they saw to make them get rid of Dobbs not once , but twice. DTR looks EXTREMELY raw. They had to have known it was only preseason.
  19. I'm sorry, but my heart stopped pretty much every time DTR dropped back to pass. I'm not going to get too down on him, he did look a lot better then his first outing but he still looks extremely raw. But I will give him credit for beating our arch rival in a meaningful game. Good on him.
  20. It's not just the coaching, the players have to buy in. All the players even, even the backups, have a hand in the success. You're right, the coaches deserve a lot of credit though.
  21. The Browns have won games with three different starting quarterbacks. Really a testament on how far the team as a whole has come. If you really look, all areas of the team have had a hand in the games we've won. Whatever happens next, this has been a memorable season so far. And D Hop with yet another game winner.
  22. This game completely highlights what Watson means to the team. Fuck the haters, Watson has proved his value to the team.
