I'm just remembering back when the Derek Anderson led Browns that went 10-6 and missed the playoffs but Pittsburgh still manages to squeak their way in even though it looks like they should be out. I know a lot of circumstances go into deciding who goes and who get in, I'm just tired of seeing them.

The Browns need to get off to a fast start and keep it going. If not, I will start to worry. If they are really serious about making some noise in the playoffs then they need to make an example out of the Texans. I'll be disappoined if they can't move the ball and come out with stupid penalties.

And the Stoolers squeak into the playoffs again, whoopie. I'm so sick of seeing these assholes in the playoffs every year. Can someone just put them out of their misery already?

If the Browns come out with anything short of 100% effort from kickoff to the final whistle, it will be an early exit for the Browns. The Texans got the big play from the word go and it was the difference.

Just noticed my error 👆 I guess that happens when your in a hurry. 2017 was the 0-16 season, then 7-8-1 after only because Gregg Williams took over and went 5-3. Then Freddie Kitchens went 6-10. Most of our core players were in place but still losing. I still like to think if I were a rookie Head Coach about to coach his first NFL team, I would rather inherit a team that has won a Super Bowl in the past 10 years or so than the mess Hue Jackson started. And FUCK Mike Tomin still stands.😄

I'm sure Minkah Fitzpatrick will hook him up.

5 Bowl Honors and 6 Alternates for Cleveland Browns
Neo replied to Flugel's topic in THE BROWNS BOARD
Yeah, somebody needs to be arrested for Hopkins snub. Instead, Baltimore gets their favorite opera singer in. -
Fuck Mike Tomlin. Even though he is having success well after the Cowher era, I think any coach could find success after inheriting Cowher's players. I think even Hue Jackson would have had sustained success inheriting that roster. Stef took an absolute turd of a roster and franchise and turned it into a potential Super Bowl contender this year and possibly a perrenial playoff contender for years to come. Although I do worry about our salary cap situation.

5 Bowl Honors and 6 Alternates for Cleveland Browns

I've been saying that. How can the defense be playing at a historic level and only two defensive players be pro bowl starters? -
The Saquon Barkley fine is the last rites of the run game.

I understand they want to make the game safer but they will never fully eliminate head injuries or concussions, just look what happened to Elijah Moore. I don't even see a foul in that video posted. -
The Browns seem to have the knack for getting your hopes up and pulling the rug from underneath you. I'm not going to let that happen to me this time. I just look at the situation for what it is, a banged up Browns squad with a 38 year old qb that are winning games, eventually they will run out of gas. I'm already happy (thrilled) with how the season turned out so far. I think the culture has finally changed, the Browns have themselves an identity. That's the most important thing. ANYTHING good that happens from this point on is a bonus. I'm hoping they don't run out of gas until they are the only ones left standing. But I'm not going to set myself up for letdown.

Just saw this snippet on NFL.com NFL Research: Kevin Stefanski joined franchise namesake and Hall of Famer Paul Brown as the only head coaches in Browns history with more than 10 wins in multiple seasons.

I really think a lot of people don't really appreciate not only the job Stef has done all year, but the amazing staff the Browns have. Really, you could put Stefanski, Jim Schwartz, and Bill Callahan in the conversation for coach of the year. Without anyone of them, this team would not be 11-5 right now.

The defense is being talked about, Joe Flacco is being talked about, but what's not really being talked about is the protection that offensive line is giving Flacco and opening up running lanes. Absolutely incredible considering how patch work the line is. There really should be a Bill Callahan love thread.
