  1. Any QB needy team would have welcomed a player of Deshaun’s caliber. I don’t think there has ever been a greater need for an elite QB. Browns need a super bowl: Watson has the ability.

He is also a great fit for Cleveland football. Big arm, accurate, mobile, tough.

Keep the O-line healthy/add O-Line depth, feed the Chubb and Hunt.. and dominate.

Im happy the Browns won the game, and yes, they did make the playoffs. BUT, this game was very close to being tied, and then possibly a loss.

Gotta tip the cap to Rudolph and his deep throw accuracy. Pitt has great receivers. We had Robert Jackson in his first career start. Jackson played well.

Pitspuke radio talking heads were saying

They dont fear anything Baker can do...but they do fear Chubb and his skills.

The run game will be key. I hope we find a way to maximize Chubb’s touches in this game. I’d really like to see more screens and check downs to 24, his hands seem reliable. Hunt is a great spell but Chubb just runs by people.

I'm really struggling with our defense.

And you know what? I can't think of any excuse good enough for giving up that 3rd and 10 to the backup. That WAS the game.

Let me ask you something else. When is the last time our defense actually stopped someone to win a game? Don't say Jacksonville.

Let's I'm proud of our offense, our coach, and our QB. But I don't think anyone on our defense can look in the mirror this morning. Ravens haven't scored this many points since the LAST time they beat us. Have some damn pride defense.

Lamar was making the types of plays that a typical quarterback has ZERO business making. Our defense simply isn’t equipped, in its current state, to stop such a player. Most teams can’t stop LJ. We need players like Delpit and run stopping LBs to slow down that offense.

The 3rd and 10 was a good play by the offense. Good read, throw, and catch.

The defense played very well last week, creating turnovers and containing Derrick Henry.

Losing sucks, I get it.. especially to the Ratbirds.

The 2018 Baker was our QB today. Simply lights out, elite level ball... minus that one snap.

This Baker and the Baker who hasn’t thrown an INT in the last 5 games has grown so much since 2018, but yes, is still the same QB.

The sport is rigged for gambling. My buddy had the browns by 2tds and the refs completely and utterly neutered the browns with penalties in the 2nd half. He also tells me don’t ever bet on the nfl cuz it’s the hardest to win (cuz it’s rigged). And he promises me the nfl controls the game through the officials and they will try to change games to get better scores. (This buddy is a hardcore sports gambler so I take his word with some merit)

Ehhh there was some dumb luck in the second half.. Mitchell strips Brown at the 2 and a Tennessee player scores from it.

Sendejo FINALLY makes a play, an interception, that came back to a hit to the head from Kevin Johnson. 2 Major plays that kept Titans alive. And then Baker fumble when we probably should have been punting.

  6. Solid bounce back from Raiders game. Baker did get lucky on a play that was batted down by D-Line , it had pick 6 written all over. He made a huge 3rd a long throw to Higgins to balance out late in the game. Running game was strong, as expected. Defense is playing smart under Joe Woods. Harrison looks like a great acquisition .

We finally seem healthy at 6-3. Philly coming to Cleveland next week. LETS GO!

What part of quarantine should = seeing their friends and going to bars if they're serious about making it to game day?  That's how you end up with something like 15 Wisconsin players testing positive so that 1-2 of their games get canceled.   When cases and hospitalizations are spiking - players have to decide whether they want to be social butterflies or making the sacrifice to play football.

You are not understanding. I am referring to the OFF-SEASON, before the games started. The summer months when there were no games.

I am saying I would prefer key players and all players on my team to be immune to COVID. Instead of a cluster of players potentially missing a game.

I see what you're saying but that could be a double edge sword.  Like you said they're less likely to properly quarantine; so the danger is to their older family members if they are just a carrier with no symptoms.  That doesn't always help a grandma and grandpa or an aunt or uncle.  And then, if one doesn't have any symptoms and they go to a WH ceremony where people are so close together they're practically playing Twister - guess what happens?   Super spread.

Some of these college programs like Wisconsin and some others have had up to 14-15 players infected in the same week. The GOOD thing is only a small percentage gets really sick in that age group.

Right now hospitalizations due to the Corona Virus all over the country are hitting very dangerous volumes.  And people without symptoms aren't the ones I'm talking about here. How many of these are people that were infected by younger people WITHOUT symptoms?  That's where this gets dangerous.  It becomes a mentality of "I'm not gonna get sick at my age so why do I have to wear a mask?"   That's when you say "a big part of the reason for wearing a mask is to protect others around you that could get VERY sick from your germs even if you're just a carrier."

Anyway, I'm very pleasantly surprised the NFL is halfway through the season - and we're having some fun this year as Browns fans!

thanks for the speech, I’m aware of what Covid is.

Over that quarantine period it would seem likely that a share players would be seeing their younger friends and bars and not likely to be traveling to their parents home to hang out. But every player’s situation is unique.

    Why would you think that?

I’m thinking that many players, being young and less likely to properly quarantine, would be more likely to have already have antibodies for Covid. Especially since there was about 4-5 months of pandemic before the season started.

Just a guess. It would be better for a key player like a QB to have antibodies before the season started.

Strange year to say the least.  To tell the truth I'm surprised tackle football has lasted this far without major quarantines.

Like today's Ohio State game cancelled and NO makeup date.  Down to 7 games.

I wonder what percentage of the population has already had the virus.

I’m guessing most teams have good amounts of  players that can’t even contract the virus at this point.

I did not have this as a Must Win game...but I DID have the Raiders game as a Must Win...and we lost.  So now, this is a Must Win game . (IMO)

The season-long stats show us as a very strong running team.  What those stats don't show is that we haven't been a real strong running team since we lost Chubb, Teller & OBJ.  Teller may be more valuable than we thought.

The offense is just different with Chubb and Teller out there. Teams can’t bring #24 down easily and it opens up the PA.
Hooper is a good blocker who hasn’t broke out as a receiver yet.

The worse the weather gets, the better for Chubb and the run game.
