Did they put a press release out that they are competitive this year??
Yea, you just quoted it 😂

We better have some damn football.
It has taken over 20 years to form a competitive team...- 1

Yeah... I'm not sure what Bill saw in Sony Michel.. Nice back.. But Chubb is the best back in the biz right now.. Zeke Elliott is pretty good but can't stay on the field or he's too doped up like Ricky Williams..
Chubb came off a nasty knee injury. I never actually saw it before researching it now. It’s not for the feint of heart to see, while coming after the play AND out of bounds.
Probably the main reason he wasn’t a 1st rounder. What a selection by Dorsey, anyhow.

It would be nice just to have an actual 3rd WR ... since we didn't last year, and it was a disastrous.

Landry is a prime “slot WR”
Peoples-Jones has the physical skillset to line up on the outside opposite of OBJ, imo.
Higgins can play inside as well, I’m not sure how I feel about him outside.
Hunt is a hell of a receiving 3rd down running back.

I’ve had a hopeless optimism many years in the past, I can’t lie.
I try not to get too excited about the season anymore but it’s pretty tough to contain that excitement this year...

Even the men’s national soccer team is looking into repealing the “kneel ban”.

Baker seemed real confident when talking about improving his game on a year to year basis/focusing on winning opposed to worrying about it being a contract year.
The team is upgraded, and he admits that he has to be better. Very good sign.- 1

Well, if you want to get the "biggest bang for your buck" I'd suggest Baker or Garrett.
Landry, OBJ and Chubb? I wouldn't put money on these three guys being here in three years. (And I just bought a Chubb jersey knowing this.)Good choice. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them, believe it or not. Personally I’ve stayed away from buying Browns jerseys. It just hasn’t seemed like a good investment in the past 20 years.. I do agree that Garrett and Baker are the foundation. And I’d imagine them being the highest sellers.
Chubb is an elite level RB with a humble attitude who is just scratching the surface in the NFL. Landry brought a level of toughness and discipline to the receiving core.
OBJ is game changing talent who brings some flair.
This isn’t a situation like the past where guys were being overpaid. Good players want to be in Cleveland now, such as Austin Hooper and Jack ConkIin. I don’t think they would’ve signed here if it was 5 years ago.
I may have to start out with 2 or 3 this year, just to be safe. We’ll see how it goes.

Those are some veteran-like words coming from such a young player.
I remember being at the Chargers game and watching Chubb(rookie year) glide past the whole defense, as if he was moving at a different pace than everyone else. The play came back due to a bs holding, and Hue lost his job 2 weeks later. Chubb wasn’t heavily involved in the offense at that point even though the fans could see his talent. I believe it could’ve been blocking or playbook related.Chubb is clearly a gifted individual with a great head on his shoulders.
A perfect fit for the City of Cleveland.Unsure who’s jersey I want this year. Garrett, Baker, Landry, OBJ, Chubb. Decisions, decisions.

Why invite the distraction? Not even a need. Where did Calloway go? I'd give him another chance before this guy.
Good point. I just always believed in his ability. Strong hands/big frame don’t go away with age.
He’d have to sign for cheap/want to play here. But I’m okay with passing. This offense has plenty of firepower as is.

Maybe some i-form with Janovic. Lots of 2 TE sets with Njoku and Hooper. Lots of mismatches vs a base defensive personnel. Hopefully we can establish a run game with the new O-Line.
Also excited to see if any formations utilize Chubb and Hunt at the same time.
-
Only way for him to come here would be on a one year “prove yourself” kind of deal..
-
Garrett being the only 2017 top 5 pick being 5th year tendered

Seems like some people are having a hard time accepting the reality of 2020.

Hollywooooood! Great news. Huge asset to this team.

Yup, true. Lets see it during real games. He was great warming up before games, that doesn't mean squat. I want to see 15 TDs, not 4.
Well now that we have an O-Line and some decent coaches your wish may come true

People saying signing him means Njoku is on his way .....does this mean we are cutting Tretter because we signed Harris ?
Can’t hurt to have depth. He’s a rookie TE who hasn’t played a down yet.

I think part of the reason why fans are on board(no pun intended) with this draft is because our team is almost complete.
We had a pretty good understanding of what the team needs were, as fans, and those needs seemed to be filled in. With quality prospects...- 2

Hard to think KJ hill isn’t worth a flyer If he’s there.
He seemed very explosive in college

Nice developmental project pick. Maybe he plays in year 2?
also, it now appears that we should push to get Hollywood Higgins signed...👏

So... which one do you think Bryant can't do?
Apparently Bryant had drop issues. I can see that happening at an underwhelming school like FAU. But he CAN block and has a more athletic frame than Devalve did.
-
Seth Devalve and Harrison Bryant are 2 completely different specimens. Devalve could catch and run. That’s about it.
-
Don’t we still need an interior lineman?

Comical timing for Browns fans, imo. This time is tough on teams with lack of continuity.
At least we have some consistencies now, such a Baker.
