  1. I wonder if we go safety or LB? Maybe DT? Ross Blacklock?

A few intriguing safeties like McKinney, Delpit, Davis, Winfield, and Chinn.

LB Akeem Davis-Gaither is an interesting player.. assuming Zack Baun is drafted before #41 he might be worth a look with the 3rd rounder.

Yea....fucking hell....so do I.  We have a 17 pt. lead on the road vs Shittstown.    Butch goes into motherfucking prevent defense in the middle of the 3rd qtr.....giving those Spermsuckers momentum.  (Foge Fazio...RIP...our DC was livid about that).  Still, if Northcutt hadn't committed  "The Drop"  ....every bit as bad in my mind as The Fumble.....worse actually, because at least with Byner the fumble was caused by a good defensive play....here, it was just an out and out Drop.  If not for The Drop,  we still win that game.

Go to the 15:30 mark about:

Man that game was choked, hard. The possession before that Northcutt drop, 3rd and 3, and Holcomb throws a duck 20 yards downfield. Just get the first down and keep the chains moving ...
At the end, that last ditch attempt to get out of bounds and give Phil Dawson a chance to tie bothers me.. we all know he would’ve made it.

And who, do you propose, who that person would be, not a tackle?  Someone that has dropped a far way?   Okudah? Simmons?    That I could see.

I’m not sure who will drop. But having the opportunity to draft Derrick Brown would be nice. Andrew Thomas is Worth it at 10.
It should cost at least a 2nd to trade back 5 spots to Denver, who is looking for a WR

There are 5 rock solid LTs, take the best one the board, end of story. There will be a worthy LT at 10.

I agree with this logic. But there is no way that all 5 of those guys are graded/valued as a 10th overall pick.

We've heard about this high ceiling but the fear is he reaches it somewhat in his next contract and not with us.

Do you see us giving him his next contract?

Idk, depends on whether or not he wants to be here. And how he performs this year.  As just about any potential free agent, he would be taking a pay cut by staying.

Hooper had one drop last year!
Yes he’s more of a football player.  Not plagued by drops, penalties and missed assignments.

Njoku good red zone guy, good for a drop, missed block and a penalty seemingly every game he’s healthy

Oh and he’s also 23 years old... they should form quite the TE duo for Baker, anyways.

Njoku needs to get better. I will agree on that. His ceiling is quite high though.

    Love this move.

You give a young QB a TE that can CATCH the ball.  And he’s a football player. Not an athlete trying to play football.

Just about anyone should love this move. Hooper had 75 catches in 13 games. Is Hooper also considered an athlete trying to play football? Or is he un-athletic? Or something?

Sounds like you are not a fan of Njoku? The athlete who spent last season on the sideline due to an errant throw from the young QB....

Stefanski led the league with 2 TE sets at 57%. The offense, when healthy, should be prolific. As long as Baker has some time to throw.
