That was an awesome play and Baker missed 100% of those. Isn't Baker now the lowest ranked QB in the NFL while Brissett is now 10-12?

After two good games and demonstrating a maturity we haven't seen here in a while, he deserves his own thread for discussion till DeSean takes the reins.

Some idiot on this forum was laughing when I said Brissett looked better than Mayfield in the first game. Unlike Mayfield he knows his limitations and isn't a wannabe superstar. Look at the chemistry between him and Cooper in just 3 games, Mayfield couldn't do that in one and a half seasons with OBJ.

I've watched nearly every Browns game since the return and this was one of the worst losses because of our purported talent level. Brissett played well enough to win, connected well with his receivers. For some reason I had a bad feeling when Cade York missed the extra point and wasn't surprised they lost the onside kick. Delpit should be benched he nearly cost us one game and cost us another. With this loss I now know we'll be in for a long season not just because of everyone's whipping boy Brisset but coaching from the head on down.

Inexcusable loss, I agree that Joe Woods should be fired for this and Priefer should follow him.

Great analysis, while watching that game I didn't miss Baker one bit. The same management that drafted the kicker thought Brisset would be a better back up to Watson, guys are over thinking things here. Yes Brisset did miss some easy throws but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for the first game as our run game is our forte anyway. Haven't opposing defenses been stacking the box the last two years anyway, did anyone really respect Baker's arm to throw accurately? I trust our O line to shove guys out of the way and create running lanes by force of will.

Those prices are inflated, Hot dogs were $8.99 at the Carolina Panthers stadium plus I got 5th row seats behind the Browns bench at mid field (Section 111) for around $440 including all taxes

He just won one. I was at the game, he needs better rhythm with the WRs but looked much better than Baker overall who some fans were booing in the first half.

Great day for true Browns fans. Nearly all the commentators are ignoring the NFL's own rule book on punishment guidelines. He was not charged with an offence so he can only be disciplined 4-8 games. If Gooddell challenges this he'll be humiliated by the NFLPA.

Yeah, we were villified for suggesting OBJ's lack of production was due to poor QB play. Glad the front office realized that a rookie WR wasn't going to fix that and traded for a better QB before our window closes

2020 was a tank job, didn't want to be part of a rebuild which is why he demanded a trade then in good ole Texas style the sexual allegations flood in. Not saying they didn't happen but football towns have a way of suppressing leaks of these events. Brett Favre didn't start doing similar behavior only when he joined the Jets, definitely happened in Green Bay I'm sure.

Like the trade as only some draft capital lost, no players traded especially defense. Much better deal than Denver’s for Wilson. This puts us in SB contention now, a high powered offense (with a QB who can actually find his open receiver) with a very good defense especially if Clowney resigns. The Browns paid him more money to pay for the projected civil lawsuit damages and pay off anyone else.

We needed an elite QB and we got one. Football skills is the only thing that matters in the NFL. Ray Lewis, Roethlisberger etc all walked into the sunset.

The bottom line is if Baker was good enough, they wouldn't need to attempt to clumsily upgrade the position. He should man up, play lights out this season (if he can) then walk out as a free agent not whine and request a trade. Joe Burrow went to the SB on a team with half our talent.
