  1. Jacoby having fun out there. https://twitter.com/SportsCenter/status/1587277143188406272?s=20&t=kpxDUG5ar_knDPDGxihXPQ
  2. Great game, the only one this season where all defense, offense (besides Cooper's pass) and ST (besides a blocked kick) did their job well. Kudos to the defense who finally woke up and man is Emmerson showing flashes of greatness. Nice way to enter the bye week, work out more kinks and get to .500 before Deshaun takes over.
  3. As if we needed reminding of how badly coached this team is, the awful Bears showed how to welcome a rookie, third string QB to the NFL on MNF.
  4. Didn't watch the game today so can't comment on Garrett's performance. Tracked the score and like last week we couldn't finish, we have better talent than some of our historically bad teams but we're just a badly coached team this year.
  5. I don't think so but as with all bad teams, occasionally they have unexpected wins. Can't believe the Jets are better than us this season, Saleh was actually one of the coaching hire finalists with Stefanski.
  6. True Berry didn't get his coach but was he meant to? DePo is the hands on extension of the owner so as you correctly pointed out, that's where the problem lies.
  7. I didn't watch the whole game either. Started at 24-9 score. We were outcoached on the defensive and offensive side of the ball and the one time Special teams could've bailed us out they messed it up then doubled down with a muffed punt.
  8. Coach and front office "aligned" and the team looks just as bad as the talentless teams of the mid 2000s. Looks like he'll go in the next clearing house at the end of this season or next.
  9. I wrote last week that we’d be outcoached. As a fan was still hoping to be proved wrong but oh well.
  10. I would put his missed 54 yarder to coaching, distance wasn't the issue. After missing the 48 yarder Pfeiffer should've advised him how to correct it in case he kicked from that side of the field again.
  11. Joe Woods still won't use him properly on our path to 3-8 before DeSean starts.
  12. Our Defense is terrible, with average performance we would be 4-1 at least. Our offense has overperformed but I’m resigned to a losing season. And I’m calling our loss to NE now, irrespective of our superior talent our coaches are completely outmatched with Belichik and co.
  13. We’re still a mediocre team. Can’t coach all three facets of the team to perform consistently. If someone had said we would score 20+ points/ game with Brissett most people would have had us 5-0 at this point but special teams and defense has performed terribly so far.
  14. So Chargers will have a career rushing game against us? This is pathetic.
  15. Not sure why people are ranting as if Jacoby's our full time QB. The criticism should be directed to the coaching staff for this loss really.
  16. Rhetorical question, Stefanski getting a little too cute there.
  17. 3 out of 4 D line starters were out, one of whom is elite. The secondary did step up but not enough to compensate. Stefanski didn't have much confidence in his D which made him go for it on 4th down at the goal line in the first quarter a decision I didn't agree with while watching the game.
  18. I wrote in the AFC North thread I wasn't too confident about our chances. I watched the entire game though. We needed a better pass rush and couldn't overcome Clowney and Myles' absence as Mariota wilts under pocket pressure. Brissett is slightly better than a game manager he wasn't brought here for game winning drives, that's Desean's job. However unsure why Amari wasn't game planned in a bit more to keep the defense honest. As Bill Parcells said "it's not who you play but when you play them"which worked out great for the Falcons today hopefully we'll come out on the positive side of this later in the season. Edit: who's idea was it to use Njoku for an end around when you have Schwartz?
  19. Our offense has to be relied on to win this game so not too confident.
  20. I have an M3 but I rarely go more than 10 miles above the speed limit on the street. There are race tracks for flooring it and that's what I tell my kids as well.
  21. Thank God he's okay could've been killed if he wasn't wearing his seatbelt.
  22. I noticed that too, hopefully our DC gameplans accordingly.
  23. Good teams have evolving offenses, eg establish Cooper as the No 1 receiver and Njoku as an established receiving threat. DC's will game plan around them and the running backs which will leave less experienced WRs (ahem Schwartz) wide open. Historically Jacoby hasn't had a problem distributing the ball, I believe he's following Stefanski's script now.
