  1. People tend to forget why OBJ was brought here, in 2018 Baker didn't have a deep threat which was particularly evident in the final Baltimore game where they sat on all the short routes. Kitchens was a dolt but Stefanski has utilized him well. We're going to miss him in tight games and the playoffs if we make it.
  2. Great game, Baker exonerated himself with a great performance after that horrible start. Great adjustments by coaching and remaining patient with Baker. We're a good team, not great yet but on that path.
  3. Baker can’t convert 3rd and 5? This will be a long game.
  4. I meant long term extension ala Mahomes not 5th year option
  5. Baker can't read defensive coverages, he made the same pick against the Ravens and Steelers. He's also become quite inaccurate and evolving into an average QB, I'll predict that he won't be offered an extension this offseason unless he significantly turns things around.
  6. Baker still can't read coverages, he's made nearly identical interceptions three times in the four games he's thrown them in this season. He should've accounted for Minkah before staring down the receiver and throwing over the middle, that's a rookie mistake in his 3rd year. Repeated similar mistakes infuriate coaches and get players benched, Stefanski said Baker will start "if he's healthy" which is a caveat to start Case if he decides so.
  7. This was one of my predicted losses before the season (see my predictions thread) however I didn't expect a blowout. Mayfield's played atrociously against our top AFC rivals.
  8. Great and quality win. Stefanski's the real deal, Go Browns!
  9. As predicted, Tyrod benched for the rookie. https://www.si.com/nfl/2020/10/08/justin-herbert-named-chargers-starter
  10. No, it’s not. The Browns are good enough to cause turnovers and score on them with an excellent running game to play keep away. Best Browns football I’ve seen since the return.
  11. If starters played, it would be very easy to transmit to opposing players. An individual after strenuous exercise can transmit droplets 20 ft or more, although transmission is less efficient outdoors. If a positive player tackled or was tackled, the virus could easily be transmitted to the other player. This is inevitable without a bubble and will most likely affect every NFL team this season.
  12. I think it's obvious he won't be an elite QB like Rodgers or Brees. He'll at best be slightly above average, Lamar Jackson was less developed when drafted but has noticeably improved every season. Just hasn't seen that with Baker.
  13. For a QB selected 1 overall, he definitely hasn't shown much progress. Intentional grounding for maybe the 3rd game in a row?
  14. Heard about her in the medical community, very sad.
  15. Because I know I'll be starting in the first game or two. Just like with the Browns, rookie QB Herbert took over even earlier than Mayfield in the second game for the Chargers. The rookie was really good in his debut so Tyrod will be stuck on the pine for the rest of the season.
  16. I actually have Philly as a possible W now instead of a loss, still 10-6 as Baltimore may sweep us.
  17. Still sticking to 10-6 for now. Room for improvement in offense and defense will hopefully become healthier.
  18. 100% so far, nice performance from the offense and D line but special teams, the linebackers and secondary are going to cost us some winnable games.
  19. Playcall wasn't bad but Baker made a stupid mistake there, he should've accounted for the safety. He shouldn't be doing that in his 3rd year.
  20. Great play by Myles, the offense arrived a week late but looks really good.
  21. Did you guys see Tony Dungy crush Baker on FNIA for the interception when Calais Campbell dropped back and tipped the ball: "Classic rookie mistake, but you're not a rookie Baker!". Our 3rd year QB is compared to a rookie and Lamar improving from his weaknesses last season makes me even more depressed about the loss.
  22. This truncated offseason was going to hit us harder but loss of our linebackers and players in the secondary will kill this season. Having said that, I'm also watching the Panthers game, rookie College coach and mainly college staff but look like a professional football team.
