Whatever your opinion of Hue, if he can prove there was an incentive to tank games, the NFL will force Haslam to sell the team and similarly for Ross in Miami. This is way more damaging than the discrimination lawsuit especially with the NFL now officially embracing gambling. Selling the team means new front office, coach and FAs will be hesitant to sign here.

There's always a dumb dissenting opinion. He inherited one of the worst rosters (remember tank for Tua?) and still won 5 games followed by two consecutive winning seasons not to talk of sweeping Belichick this year despite average QB play. The Browns with better talent couldn't even compensate for Baker's subpar play this year. Finally he wanted to draft Herbert instead of Tua.

And related coach firings. Wasn't expecting Flores to be canned, did pretty well with poor QB play unlike us.

Nobody's going to think Case is the answer if he beats JV Bengals. Baker and Stefanski deserve all the criticism especially Stef as he should've played Case for the first Steeler's game.

Great analysis overall and comment on Baker, he hasn't shown the calmness of a franchise QB this season reflected in 0/5 game winning drives. The Chargers game was another example where he missed an open OBJ that would've given us a first down in the final drive. John Kosko of PFF's been saying this all season that Baker's performance has been subpar. Hooper's such a disappointment and I don't think we can cut him without taking a huge cap hit. WR also needs to be addressed.

Hate to agree with this. OBJ who didn't score a TD here this season has been doing so weekly with the Rams and it's not just on Baker but Stefanski who couldn't make it work between them.

OBJ makes a play to benefit the Browns this season then Cinci pulls off the impossible. Do we have a shot at a wild card if we win out?

Don't want to hijack the thread but other than demanding out because he wasn't being used properly when else was he "me first" with the Browns? This offense needs an elite receiver but isn't designed to keep one happy, same thing happened with Diggs in Minnesota. Stefanski should've modified his playbook like Shannahan does to keep him happy until we really needed him like now and in the playoffs. No we see how shitty our receivers are now that they're drawing the coverage Beckham used to receive.

Let's not rewrite history, he played hurt and he drew a lot of coverage that's now plastering our subpar receivers. At this point with the lack of on field chemistry between the two, it's probably better he left but if we'd made the playoffs with him he would've made a few crucial plays. We'll see what happens in LA now that Woods is out.

I've said it before, Baker's a very good QB but he's not elite. This team is also too heavily dependent on the running game, exposing Baker's inadequacies this week and people should stop saying we don't have good receivers, we just let one go we didn't know how to use.

Until he's fired, he leads the defense so it sucks till then
