My brother will play leaving us needing 8 more optimally.  

I know it’s very late and I said I didn’t have time to commish a league. Was just thinking how much Tour loved the points league with IDP. If at least 9 people post here they would play I’ll renew it and set a draft for Wednesday night. It is a lot of fun and much different than head to head and team defense. Full PPR with IDP. Post here asap if you’d play. 

I assume league 3 is not active either? I think Heidi was the commish.

A little tailgate warmup this past weekend. Finally had a chance to fire up the smoker. Jamaican jerk pork belly kabobs on a warm sweet and spicy cabbage and pepper slaw. A keto take on Jamaican oxtail stew subbing in black soy bean for the traditional butter beans. Smoked the oxtail for a couple hours then threw them in the stew mix to braise in the smoker. Both were money. Going forward all my jerk pork will be belly like this. Oxtails were a first for me  very rich and beefy  pricey though considering it’s mostly bone  next time I do the dish I will likely sub in short ribs

Smoked Beef Ribs.  Did a killer dry rub combo pictured here- two of them found at your local Trader Joe’s.  2 hours uncovered, 1 hour wrapped in foil and sprayed with apple cider vinegar, last hour unwrapped. Smoker sat between 250-275 the whole time.    Last hour you could throw your own BBQ sauce on it- I prefer a dry rub.

Looks great! I like to spritz them with a mix of 1 cup white vinegar to 1/4 cup Frank’s red hot. Does not make them too spicy. Like you I don’t do bbq on my beef ribs. I also love using coffee as a component in my rub. I do that for back ribs, plate ribs and brisket. 

What Ariza is accused of is simply light years worse than what Watson allegedly did. Asking a masseuse to rub your Johnson or slapping it on her is far different than forcefully and repeatedly gang raping a minor. Not say My Watson doesn’t need counseling but it’s night and day.

100% agree. Bottom line is if the light hasn’t come on for catching the ball by now it likely won’t. He was atrocious last night. So bad you can’t really assess how Brissett did. 

I don’t have time to run a league but I’d love to be in one. Brownsboard V I can transfer to someone else if needed. 

Only chance it happens if they release him or if they eat a large piece of the salary. That said I don’t see how folks don’t see Jimmy G as clearly better. Somewhere around 7% more accurate along with 2 YPA longer. Far more passing TD’s in a season. I’ve never been a fan but when you compare the two it’s pretty obvious. 

My wife has been taking care of our friends garden while they are on an Alaskan cruise. Zuchinni are going crazy so we have tons. This is one of our favorite ways to make prepare. Zuchinni boats filled with Italian sausage and Parmesan , topped with provolone and fontina cheese in a nice chunky puttanesca style sauce. Finished off with some fresh parsley and basil. 

If the Browns are smart they are burning Tretters line up right now before TB snaps him up. Having the NFLPA prez was a burden at one time, could be a useful side effect now too.

First off let me say I respect your support of people who have been sexually abused. I have some fairly close knowledge of how that can impact lives longer term. That said I simply don’t see that as what has happened in these cases. I believe through masterfully executed media blitz it’s what many have been led to believe occurred. The flip side is I think the media has been woefully handled by Watsons team.

Not sure why you threw the “underage” in your comparison because it doesn’t apply in any of Watson cases. I think it’s a stretch to say he predatorily stalked 66 woman. Quite a few of those 66 had no issue at all with their interactions with Watson. He didn’t have to dig far to find some of them as they advertise on Instagram. Many single men trill the bars and dating sites literally daily looking for sex. Is that predatory in the absence of force, coercion or violence?  I still go back to wondering how it is possible he slapped his penis around on the women so liberally and ejaculated  prior to them backing off and asking him to leave. I further don’t understand how some of them actually allowed him to make subsequent appointments. I stand by my assessment that he is sexually addicted with a kink for the massage setting. Should he treat that? Probably but in and of itself it’s not illegal. Two different grand juries declined to say indict relative to legal vs illegal behaviors. ThIs entire thing continues to grow away from actual facts based on media nudge and public reaction to that nudge. Roger isn’t pushing fo what he thinks is right, he’s pushing for whatever he thinks will satisfy the frenzy.

I’d love to know how Tour is doing for sure. Always enjoyed chatting with him here and via the points league which he loved. That said there is awful lot of personal info here posted with addys numbers and such. Just the kind of thing along with details on his situation that identify thieves might jump on. 

I’ve seen it stated that the appeal is supposed be be handled quickly. Has anyone seen definition of “quickly”? 

Been awhile since I’ve posted up some of my food here. Been craving some Mexican food and finally had some time to cook a little Fajitas with chipotle chicken, chile lime marinated skirt steak , onions and hatch chilies. Double cheese enchilada topped with keto charro beans and a little Salvadoran crema and lime zest. Beans are made with black soy and loaded with bacon , chorizo , onions and hatch chiles. Enchilada is a 100% cheddar shell filled with shredded quesadilla cheese and mild green chiles.

Ok...other point....

I think it's very important, and being overlooked completely, that the Tom Brady deflategate case, essentially confirmed that the language in the CBA does in fact give Roger Goodell, the power and authority to render ANY AND ALL player discipline at his sole discretion.  It's in the contract.  The players voted for it, and signed off on it.  The court confirmed it.  Goodell does NOT have to prove his punishment is consistent, he doesn't have to prove he did or didn't appropriately punish Kraft or Jones or Ross or whoever.  He can apply discipline at his discretion without having to meet any sort of standard or burden of proof.  There would be ZERO chance Watson would win anything in court when the precedent has already been set on this.  They can dig up stuff on the owners etc all day long and make a mountain of paperwork...and it won't matter because Goodell has the power to do whatever he chooses.

I think he would like to have avoided all this by having a woman judge bring down the hammer, taking the pressure and burden off him to do it...and looking like a hypocrite.  He's now forced to act and he absolutely can. no matter what the NFLPA says they would do in court.  Goodell already had his right to dictatorship affirmed in court.  

 

 

 

You can run your fat mouth all you want about me but I’d suggest you shut the hell up about my wife. Many of those woman went back for seconds and more. One was completely discredited by her son. She may be the same one who texted the next day apologizing to Watson for HER unprofessional behavior for giving him oral sex. I’m not saying the dude doesn’t have a problem but I do not see what was going on as assault in the details provided. Most woman would back away if some starting rubbing his wiener on them, especially true for legitimate therapeutic masseurs. No different than if you started rubbing your dick on a nurse or doctor, pretty sure they’d back off , ask you to leave and never see you again. While not a popular opinion with the tar and feather crowd there is some culpability on the part of many of these woman. Lastly I think there is basis for a discriminatory practice lawsuit in federal court.  Precedent is always taken into consideration but it doesn’t mean a case can’t establish new precedence is my understanding. EDITS made since my initial reaction was much less civil and much more a litany of four letter words. With D’ernest and the draft pick his leverage is pretty low. If he’s angling for starter money he’s as good as gone.
