  1. This one seems to be a dead heat so far. I can say I was underwhelmed by Parkey  last year. I often wonder how many of the short kicks were by design. God forbid why as our coverage sucked on special teams. I think kickers are like closer in bball. 99% of it’s between their ears and when they get rattled they are done for.

  2. So far I have zero replies from the message I sent to all managers in League V. If I don’t get overwhelming response soon this week I will likely fold that one up. Most years I’ve spent hours on end chasing folks down on that one to get enough. Browns Points league has I believe 6 confirmed teams between message on the board and personal messages to me. @Tour2ma are you on for the IDP points league? Lastly I’m a member in League 3 but don’t see a draft time has been set. If I fold V I’ll be available in another league if anyone is short.

  3. Here’s some food porn from the weekend for you. I smoked 55 lbs of turkey breast this past weekend.  Did them with cherry wood , half with savory rub and half bbq rub. Time to use some creatively. At Thanksgiving we always enjoy a sausage stuffing with turkey and gravy. Here is that as a deconstructed stuffing sandwich. Construction is savory sage French toast, caramelized onions, rosemary Gouda , more French toast, smoked turkey, rich creamy keto poultry gravy and topped with another savory French toast. It’s a knife and fork sandwich I’ll name it Myles Standwich 😂 What this lacks in presentation is outweighed by insane flavors. The savory sage French toast with the buttery caramelized onion and thin sausage patty nail the flavor and mouthfeel of the stuffing and the turkey and “gravy” is the bomb. The French toast is made with Aunt Millies 1 net carb wheat bread. I do the gravy with an almond flour rue, heavy cream , cream cheese and Minors chicken stock concentrate.

  4. Denver is shopping pick #9. I’d consider moving up to grab Surtain. Adding him to Ward , Johnson ,Hill and Harrison forms the best secondary in the NFL. Life at the D line for sacks and QB pressures would be easy picking for the crew we have now.

  7. I belong to a foodie group now that does a Chopped challenge monthly. In my first month in the group I was honored to win the monthly cover photo challenge. This is my first attempt at the Chopped challenge and I’m pumped to compete! This months “basket” is pork belly, instant grits, lemon lime soda and honey. Pondered Asian flavors but went southern. Pork belly burnt ends finished in a 7up BBQ sauce on a white cheddar and chive griddled grit cake with sweet and spicy fried green tomatoes and pickled red  onion.  Creamy grits inside the crispy cake with the rich melt in your mouth pork is decadent. The fried tomato and onions really complement the richness of the pork. To utilize my basket the pork belly was cubed and then marinated overnight in a diet 7up and soy with garlic solution. The bbq sauce is diet 7up based with sugar free ketchup, Worcestershire, Brown Swerve and spices including onion , garlic, red pepper , black pepper and a little allspice and ginger. Grit cake is  instant grits with cheddar and chives stirred in. Refrigerated overnight in circular molds and then fried on the griddle until nice and crispy. Green tomatoes are breaded in instant grits mixed with red pepper and paprika, fried and brushed with honey. Lastly I quick pickled  the red onion in vinegar , Swerve and some red pepper. Pretty tasty, I kept the belly keto so I can eat it. The rest goes to our daughter haha. The pork belly burnt ends and picked onion hit the spot watching the game tonight  couldn’t help but think that we would have been there beating Buffalo had they called that hit on Higgins

  8. We will use up pork and kraut leftovers for the game. Cooked like a normal gathering but only two eating it lol. For Christmas I usually do a prime rib dinner for about 12 people. This year just my wife and I so scaled it down. Salad is butter lettuce , red onion, tomato bacon, capers and a homemade Danish bleu cheese dressing. Cast iron filet mignon on a bed of white truffle and Gruyere cauliflower mash drizzled with a morel cream sauce. Last up a keto version of sticky pudding with toffee sauce and candied pecans. This is a do again meal for sure.

  9. Tonight’s pregame meal.  A nice antipasto salad with an Italian sausage sandwich. Antipasto was fresh mozzarella, red onion, old world pepperoni, kalamatta olives and grape tomatoes tossed in olive oil and a touch of white wine vinegar ,lemon juice and Italian seasoning. Served on some romaine , yellow bell pepper and Parmesan. Sandwich is garlic chaffles, fried onion and peppers, Italian sausage patties, lots of mozzarella and marinara. Garnished with a little red bell pepper , olive bruschetta and a hot Calabrian pepper.GO BROWNS!!

  10. Many things contributed to losing. Relative to our defense the truth is overall our secondary and linebackers were over their heads. Not enough talent to compete. IMO the inexcusable reason was our kicker. For the most part it’s just him , the holder and the ball. The extra point and FG distances were gimmes for a pro. He blew it!

  11. Feeling under the weather this weekend so easy soup of some sort was the plan for game day.   Winged it and made what I’ll call Keto Lazy Red Chicken chili. When I say lazy I mean I wanted as little prep work as possible. 1 large onion diced and sautéed. 4 cups of canned chicken, 4 10 oz. cans of undrained diced tomatoes, 2 cups chicken stock, 2 small cans of diced hit hatch Chile’s, 6 oz. tomato paste. 1-2 T each of chili powder and cumin, 1 t garlic powder. Simmered for 20 -30 minutes. Topped with crema, avocado and black olives with some lime slices. Not fancy but very tasty! This should burn the bacteria from my throat 😂.   The canned chicken was a very nice grade from GFS that had some nice fat and collagen with it.
