I was wondering myself
So why didn't he take Malik Washington? This was a bad pick IMO.

so is the end of bell at wr ?
Could be.

Right about where the Browns could have had him. So now he gets to play in the SB. LOL!😁
EDIT: Browns still get to see him in Philly though.

Stroud at QB and Stover at TE.
I'd take that for the Browns every day of the week.
I'm jelly.
Having a good friend when I lived in Wyoming who was raised on a 12,000 acre ranch, I can tell you come branding season he could grab and flip those calves all day long without even breathing hard. This is an excellent pick for Houston.

The Texans knew. OSU TE.😁

That was a good trade for Miami. That guy should have gone in the 3rd. Speedy, speedy, speedy will fit well there.

You mean like DT? LOL! (I just could not resist).🙃

And the Ag Robinson went early in the 4th, just about where I expected.

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah, there are 20 top-100 prospects still on the board for teams:
- Texas OT Christian Jones (No. 55 overall)
- Oregon DT Brandon Dorlus (No. 65 overall)
- Arizona TE Tanner McLachlan (No. 68 overall)
- Texas TE Ja'Tavion Sanders (No. 70 overall)
- Colorado State EDGE Mohamed Kamara (No. 71 overall)
- Missouri CB Kris Abrams-Draine (No. 72 overall)
- North Carolina LB Cedric Gray (No. 75 overall)
- Oregon WR Troy Franklin (No. 76 overall)
- Washington State S Jaden Hicks (No. 78 overall)
- Kentucky RB Ray Davis (No. 81 overall)
- Penn State TE Theo Johnson (No. 82 overall)
- TCU TE Jared Wiley (No. 83 overall)
- Iowa State CB T.J. Tampa (No. 84 overall)
- TCU CB Josh Newton (No. 85 overall)
- South Carolina QB Spencer Rattler (No. 89 overall)
- Clemson RB Will Shipley (No. 92 overall)
- North Carolina WR Devontez Walker (No. 93 overall)
- Virginia WR Malik Washington (No. 94 overall)
- Tennessee RB Jaylen Wright (No. 95 overall)
- Washington S Dominique Hampton (No. 97 overall)
Which means there is no reason we can't find Ainias Smith as our 5th rounder.🤣

Thanks for the goodies LB! I'm gonna vent a little here - just know it's not aimed at you. This just feels like a good spot to exercise my 2 brain cells.
I really like the Zinter selection; but I'm scratching my head about the 2nd round reach for Michael Hall Jr that many sites/publications had going in the 3rd and 4th rounds. I'm an Ohio State fan; but he ended with 2 tackles for losses and 1.5 sacks in his final season. That doesn't really stack up well against the other talent that went in round 2 IMO regardless of how well he did at the combines. This felt a lot like reaching on DE Alex Wright a couple years ago. Why???
Why do I feel this way? If we wanted to reach on a player - it should have been LEFT TACKLE Kiran Amegadjie or others equivalent LT prospects were available in round 2. Unfortunately, we still have a very sleepy Casper the Friendly Ghost entitled to his starting LT job. He doesn't have to try or be consistent. He often stops after his initial hit when he's run blocking. He hasn't even put in the work to have a consistent stance that sets him up for ideal leverage, power and base. We've seen this for 4 years now. Film ain't gonna show us he's earned SQUAT. This FO drafted him at #10 overall so he's entitled. Keeping him throws off the scent the FO failed here. Both RTs are coming off season ending injuries. Our strength last year was OG; and it still was heading into the draft. 100% of our starting tackles (1 LT + 2 RTs). However, I am very aware we signed a 9 veteran G/T (Germain Ifedi) that didn't appear in 1 game last year. I think his most recent starts were all at Guard. Soooooo, our next pick today is in round 5.
Which is why I asked on another thread if we just got another Tommy Togiai 2.0, a failure with the Browns.

Mike Hall is an interesting pick if you consider the selection of Ika the year before... definitely contrasting styles.
And my concern is that the last similar sized OSU DT we took has not panned out with anyone (Togiai). Is Hall any better or will he get runover regularly just like Tommy T?
-
Guess I was slightly off on McKinnley Jackson going in the 4th. Made it in the comp picks late in the 3rd. I just hope he does not prove better than OSUs DT the Browns picked up since he went to Cincy after Hall. But we shall see.

Perfect pick for the Browns. I like the 0 sacks allows last season.

So I guess the Browns felt all those OL injuries last year was an aberration.

Situational pass rusher…3rd down get after the QB guy. And depth of course.
So maybe we don't have to move Myles inside on those 3rd downs anymore.

Hey Tom, your Yale guy is still sitting there.👍

So Cooper is the 1st LB off the board despite tia saying no way. LOL!

Slowly getting closer to #54.

I'd put more stock into these words if you hadn't been so off the mark on your previous pimping's of A&M players that fell wildly short of your hype.
If you discount Myles whom I pimped after year one at A&M. I put him up as redemption for JFF and his substance dependence problems which no one seemed to understand until he was with the Browns.

Appears that the Ravens and Steelers made great picks, although not hard to do considering the talent available.
Well except if you're the Bengals. This huge OT who the experts say is "a project" or "has potential".
Really? In the first round? With all the proven college talent still there for the taking?
And the Ravens picked up the Big Man from Tenn in the off season. The Derrick Henry acquisition along with their running QB can prove to be a real difference maker for them.

Best available day 2 from Danial Jeremiah.
https://www.chargers.com/news/best-available-players-day-2-nfl-draft
And from elsewhere his 1st rounders still there:
Jeremiah had DeJean as the No. 24 overall player, so landing in the second round won't be a complete shock. The same goes for Newton (No. 25), Mitchell (No. 27), Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry (No. 28), Texas A&M linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (No. 29) and Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey (No. 30).

Offensive Guards have feelings too! I say that because there's an Aggie OG Layden Robinson projected as high as round 2 (Lindy's) that I haven't seen you mention in here yet (unless I was sick that day). All kidding aside, even if that projection exceeds others that group Guards in with Centers - he may be someone for you to keep your eye on. There's 32 teams so all it takes is 1 to notice him.
They'll probably give him a hilarious acronym/nick-name as a rookie. "WHO MISSED THAT BLOCK? Was it LayRob or Peak-a-Boo?"
Well if he is still there in the 3rd, we should probably take him. But I was having so much fun this year with Smith and Cooper, I didn't bother with Robinson or DT McKinnley Jackson, both of whom I see as 4th or 5th rounders.
But I'm calling it right now for next year in the 1st. Keep a strong watch on A&M's portal transfer from Purdue, 6-4, 280 Jr Edge rusher Nic Scourton who led the Big 10 in sacs last year. He was the real standout in the Spring Game with a defensive minded head coach to utilize him to the fullest this coming year. I think he will play well enough to come out early to be a 1st rounder. Team him up with Myles and here we go. I will give some feedback during the year, but from what I saw he looks to be the best A&M Edge since Myles.
