  1. I never rode a bike other than as a passenger, but my mom did date a biker. That’s right, my mom was some guy’s old lady. From this l have a heightened awareness and a certain developed mode of driving behavior around motorcyclists. For example, extra cushion on the tailing. However, in my ample studies of driving behavior in rush hour traffic, l can see how a bike in that environment would be a no bueno situation. It’s all about boxing it in to push through, not letting the asshole to your right merge into your lane mentality.
  2. As a resident Ray Ray Armstrong supporter, l gotta admit he hasn’t shown me much so far. And l been watching, but having great hair doesn’t make you a lock here. Maybe in years past l would have been ok with the all hair team, comprised of you and Gillan and Higgins’ bufont of wonderment, and Baker with his whimsical facial thing.
  3. I only saw part of the second half but thought Wyatt Ray showed some moves coming off the edge.
  4. I think that’s very well said Gunz. Definitely some truth in there. I suppose the devil lies in where do you draw the line and justify keeping and stashing a guy on the 53 while still “developing him.” The dudes in the locker room sees what’s up. They could probably vote on a final 53 and it would be received with approval. Think Corbett has cut it in their eyes?
  5. https://brownswire.usatoday.com/2019/08/17/stock-up-and-stock-down-after-the-browns-preseason-win-over-colts/ Decent who’s hot and who’s not type of article after last game. Looks like they got it right. Wyatt Ray seemed to show some nifty moves. My recording on NFL Network seems to mostly be a Panthers game, so l only got to see part of the second half.
  6. I was actually reasonably pleased with Corbett after the Wash game, but not so much after Indy. Too often l see Corbett out of position or getting steered instead of being the guy doing the steering. Forbes on the other hand continues to look ok to me at RG. Both Corbett and Forbes have gotten a chunk of playing time alongside each other, and they seem to work in tandem on a number of plays, passing guys off and combo blocking. On one play damn near the whole OL got sucked under for a Blough sack, except for Forbes who was up front keeping his guy out of the backfield. He whiffed on one block, but Corbett picked him up on another play. Forbes will get knocked back but seems to regain his position pretty quickly. I think he’s got the goods but still needs seasoning.
  7. Clearly our cats are better than your cats!
  8. I was actually reasonably pleased with what l saw from Corbett at center. I think the plan for a line of succession is at play with the OL, and it’s not a bad plan.
  9. Dorsey is definitely his own dude. Triple fisting it in his signature Dorsey garb.
  10. Something about Clowney never took with me. Probably his name. Clowns man.
  11. I gotta admit, in retrospect the whole Duke situation and how he handled it was super jive. If you think about it, trying to trade a player is a compliment of sorts. It means the player is perceived to have value beyond his current digs. How many players actually retire with the team that drafted them? Five percent maybe? I feel like you hear it from baseball players all the time. “I don’t care if l go 0 for 4, as long as we win the game.” How the hell could Duke not see his value with the Browns?
  12. Indy got Takitaki to worry about
  13. Fair point. We’ll cut him some slack, but next time he can legitimately act like he’s done it before.
  14. Jay Crawford is my dude. He was my foosball partner in Albuquerque. Man could play top notch goalie.
  15. He does look Italian doesn’t he? I was a little embarrassed for him acting all gassed and sucking oxygen after that magnificent run back. A better play would have been to act all hard like it was no big deal.
  16. I think we all know Gipper is down for some kinky shit. Shouldn’t be a problem.
  17. There is some evidence that says Kitchens likes 2 TE sets. Even in the last preseason game. There was one running play where they used Higgins as a blocker playing tight on the line. He did well too.
  18. Can’t say l’m terribly surprised. Orson didn’t show great in the last game. Looked pretty ordinary. Not the head of steam ass chapper l thought l’d see.

  20. I’d be surprised if Forbes didn’t make the 53
  21. I think for Callaway it’s considered a second offense with his pee test fail before the combine. I don’t think he ever got tested after his traffic incident before last season, or if he was he tested ok.
  22. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/K/KerrJo00.htm I thoght perhaps he has better hands than Charles, but stats don’t really support that. 12 games, 1 reception and 1 rush in career so far. Likely camp competition. Charles looked kind of ordinary the 1st preseason game. Could be bringing a guy in to compete with him will light a fire under his ass.
  23. I’d agree with this Takitaki takey. He’s like a ‘69 Dodge Superbee. Plenty of motor, not enough brake.
