  1. Suck what? You’re probably not wrong though. Tell me more.
  2. Those are not fighting words 52. All of that is very much a non fighting word response to a very much fighting word post. And yes. Penalties. Fucking refs.
  3. Politics as an initial reaction? That’s wierd man. Really wierd. Go politics!
  4. Proud to say my skin’s pretty fucking thick and this only fazes me a wee bit. Hope the same for y’all. I saw good things nonetheless. Moral victories if you will. Fuck all y’all. Wanna fight?
  5. I’m not sure l ever recall a more bizarre sequence of events. Even tops Josh Gordon and his jive ass jivery.
  6. Sounds like the makings of a pick up line. Hey baby, wanna help me pull this dinghy?
  7. Fun read, and hats off to those Browns fans buying him a round. You may take my downs, but you will never take... MY FIELD POSITIONNNN!!!
  8. Just a practice squad guy from Oct to Dec 2017.
  9. I think in one of the Corbett discussions someone made a comment that Dorsey isn’t so great at drafting/signing OLmen and developing them. I did research, and some interesting findings l found. Dorsey was KC’s GM from 2013 to 2016. I don’t think many would disagree that he played a significant role in making them what they are today. In that time l counted 6 OLmen he drafted. 2013 Rd 1: Eric Fisher, OT. Had a rough start in his rookie year, but has turned into a building block on the OL for them since then. In 2016 signed an extension and still with the team. 2013 Rd 6: Eric Kush, C. Originally signed as a Center and didn’t get much action with KC and was waived in 2015. Bounced around to a few teams, and eventually landed with us, obviously. 2014 Rd 6: Zach Fulton, G. He won a starting spot in 2016 with them and was later signed by the Texans in 2018 and started for them as well. 2014 Rd 6: Laurent Duverney-Tardiff, OL: A rare Canadian draft pick, took a bit to develop. In 2015 started a game, started 14 in 2016, signed an extension in 2017 and still starting for KC. 2015 Rd 2: Mitch Morse, G: Did ok for the Chiefs from what l read, and then in 2017 signed a nice sized contract with the Bills. 2016 Rd 4: Parker Ehinger, G: Started as a rookie, but seems to have had an injury plagued and/or ineffective career. Has bounced to a couple teams since then, most recently the Cards. All 6 are still in the league, 5 of them starting. And KC’s current starting OL consists of Fisher, Duverney-Tardiff, Austin Reiter, Andrew Wylie and Mitchell Schwartz. So basically 2 guys Dorsey drafted, and 1 former Browns players Dorsey signed for KC, and 2 other former Browns players Dorsey cut so that KC could later sign them. I had forgotten Wylie, but he did have a cup of coffee with us. If you add Erving in there as the top T backup, that’s another former Brown Dorsey traded to KC. So basically, Dorsey has played a ginormous role in building the KC Oline, even after they were no longer paying him to do so.
  10. Am l the only one rooting for Tigie Sankoh to get called up one day? That guy has been gutting it out on the practice squad for a while now. He’s kinda like our own international Rudy.
  11. My guess is the Browns see him as a guy who, within a year or 2, could be in the conversation as one of top punters in the league. Which is probably the baseball equivalent of a late inning middle infielder defensive replacement who can’t hit worth a shit. That guy has a helluva glove, but making a couple mil more than the up and coming young guy who ALSO has a great glove and also can’t hit for shit, but with time maybe the young guy’s bat will come around. I anticipate there may be a couple times we mutter “fuckin’ Hammer” under our breath this year, and not the good kind of muttering, but there will likely be a few positive “fuckin’ Hammer!!” plays too. I figure Kitchens and Priefer are a wee bit stoked at the trick play possibilities with Gillan too. As a fan l can’t recall a time l ever scooted up in my chair for a punt, but maybe l will this year.

  13. Clarification: is this is just for the regular season? Or are we including post season action?
  14. For the longest time l thought it was called “duck tape” because it sorta sounded like a mechanical quacking noise when you peeled a strip off.
  15. I seem to recall a solid 2 years of hand wringing and griping about one Mitchell Schwartz, and then suddenly he was good, and there was much desire to resign him, but we didn’t. Corbett isn’t getting near the playing time Schwartz got, but perhaps a late bloomer like Schwartz? Not saying Corbett will or won’t pan out, or for whom he might pan out.
  16. https://www.dawgsbynature.com/2019/8/30/20840535/cleveland-browns-roster-cuts-tracker-as-team-tries-to-get-down-to-53-players That link seems pretty quick with the info. So far Brian Price, Montrel Meander and Jarrell Owens got the axe.
  17. Fuck that guy. This whole new “America’s Team” thing has to stop. Yay for America, fuck the Cowboys, but God bless the Cowboys and what they were known as way back when. Let it lie there and come up with something new.
