    Not a bad early list.

Berry might want to go right back to filling Perrion Winfrey's vacant rookie DT spot, pairing w/Ika in future ?

The sleeper of that group, is my favorite Guard, U Conn's Christian Hayes  👀   Room to grow into a solid NFL starter w/NFL coaching. In mock sims, I'd pass Hayes for higher positional needs at #54.. Hayes was gone 3-5 picks later. Can't see Hayes getting to #85 with fake or live drafting. Glad Berry/scouts got Hayes a job interview

Stuck in ACC country. I too like Virginia's WR Malik Washington .. But, we don't have his projected 4th round pick slot. Adding Washington pushes E.Moore as the slot receiver. But, it does nothing for us filling a #2 outside WR. Malik Washington fits a Elijah Moore cost raise replacement in recent future.

Good analysis from O'Hara and Lewan about the need to make the big guys run 40 yards instead of 20-30 yards or so.   Coincidentally, back to back OL pulled up lame 30 yards into their 40.

footballs played 40 seconds apart.. 3 hundy's shouldn't be line waiting for 2nd 40 yd. runs.. 20 yards may shorten that wait time too..  like it

  3. Daniel Jeremiah

"Scouts like to see IOL run 10 yard splits of 1.76 w/40's at 4.96"

    "Tackles/ 10 yard splits of 1.73 w/40's of 4.95"

My scorecard of group one reads

    Tanor Bortolini 4,94-1.69

    Frank Crum 4.94-1.69

    Tylan Grable 4.96- 1.69

    Group 2  (just began)

    Roger Rosengarten 4.92-1.73

that's all at this time folks. edit- that's the final score of 40's that ran them

  4. here comes the Combine cluster fuk post :D

1.) Let's try to avoid the over-payments of adding just FA's.. The quality of player, left on the drafting clock, just might be as good as trading for a player at pick #54? (DL/WR)

2.) The early volume of picks, should vary on positions at WR/ OL & a really impressive speed class of Secondary help.

3.) Maybe 2 of 4 QB's, that only Jimmy Haslam/Depo would draft in top 10.

4.) RB, LB & TE class didn't look to hurt their cause for a few going in top 50 picks

5.) The only named studs we may not be in reach of now in Rd.2 ?  The Texas Duo at WR/PR/KR A. Mitchell & X.Worthy <<(combine, enjoyed getting know a fun kid!)

Time to watch the horses that make offenses go !  Offensive Line  🧐

#illini Walk on, to starter, to team captain. TE Tip Reiman with a heck of a Combine.

    GHoN_7hXMAAQDPI.jpg.137a9bb766565b30817329d95121d584.jpg

Every year, NFL Combine interviews almost always unveil something funny about a prospect. For many prospects, it’s the first time they’re given a big platform to speak in front of multiple national reporters and let NFL fans see who they really are behind the helmet.

This year, look no further than Illinois tight end Tip Reiman, who believes that "pigeons are not real". :D

Illinois Tight End Tip Reiman Says Pigeons Aren’t Real

“Birds aren’t real” is definitely a conspiracy theory that has gained popularity online in the last few years. While it’s unclear if Reiman actually believes that pigeons aren’t real or if he was just joking around with the media, this story has already taken the Combine by storm.

    j-JllD3D_normal.jpg
Illinois TE Tip Reiman a firm member of “Birds Aren’t Real” movement.
“Have you ever seen a baby pigeon?”
“How do we know that power lines aren’t pigeon recharging stations?”
the hard hitting moments of the combine

Reiman played four years with the Fighting Illini and caught 41 passes for 420 yards and five touchdowns throughout his career. He’s a big, rugged blocking tight end who projects to be a Day 3 NFL Draft selection. He measured at 6-foot-4, 273 pounds, and proved in the Shrine Bowl that he can be a competent pass catcher for his size.

Edgerrin Cooper ran a 4.52 40 yd., 6'2 1/8"  230 lbs.  Guys commenting at the combine really high on him. Afraid he is long, long gone by the time the Browns pick.

    Bama's Dallas Turner  4.47

    Kentucky's Wallace ties Cooper's  4.52

    NCSt's Wilson 4.44

This is a fast group of LBs for sure. One of 'em needs to be in a Browns Uni.

top 7 in first LB group, just ran faster than Anthony Walker & Takitaki in their combine year.. Both were 6'1" 238lbs.. Walker 4.65  Taki 4.63

Help for 2024 team improvement will need to come from Free Agency....and trades.

    Zac Jackson, The Athletic

Berry-led Browns again figure to be focusing on adding experienced players to the roster in March and the months that follow, April’s draft is also important — even as they have to wait to join the party.

Cleveland is slated to pick at No. 54 in the second round, but in the previous two years, the Browns traded down and started their drafts in the third round. Added WR Elijah Moore over the 42nd pick value of last season & a Jets 3rd round pick.

Even if the Browns think Tillman/Bell may take a big leap. Both Cooper and Moore are in the final year of their current contracts in 2024.

A significant move for a veteran in March seems possible again (pick 54 and if cap money fits), but the Browns still should be looking to add pop to the group via a deep WR draft class.

While several Browns positions of need could also become, Combine tampering diner talks.

    ESPN Cleveland Tony Rizzo

Needless to say, that rubbed ESPN Cleveland personality Tony Rizzo the wrong way, as it would be the third time in as many years that they don’t have a pick in the first or second rounds (via ESPN Cleveland).

However, there’s a possibility that they could flip that pick for the right guy, such as, say, Mike Evans/Jerry Jeudy assuming a proven veteran becomes available.

Nonetheless, Rizzo would rather the team have some young players on rookie contracts instead of adding more veterans on big-time deals, and he might be right.

This team is built to compete right now, but championship windows could close drastically and suddenly in professional sports, especially in the NFL.

The front office has done a solid job of putting together a competitive team while still maintaining some salary-cap flexibility, and GM Andrew Berry claimed that will continue to be his approach going forward.

Pre-March Madness in Cleveland... ya got to  it !

  14. Head start into Browns 2024 off season

In this daily series (every position FA completed) we will look at all of the 633 unrestricted free agents that are set to hit the market on the 11th March at noon ET, this is when teams can begin negotiating with them. Despite this, many deals will be negotiated before that time, with the combine seen as the kick off of the unofficial tampering period. There will be some that don't make it there due to either being franchise tagged before the 4pm ET deadline on the 5th March or being extended by their current team.

Pending FA's positions  Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Tight Ends, Tackles, Guards, Centers, Edges, Defensive Tackles, Linebackers, Cornerbacks & Safeties.

Final article here includes Safeties https://247sports.com/nfl/cleveland-browns/longformarticle/cleveland-browns-free-agency-preview-starting-safeties-227012418/#2363767

Who's to say Berry might find trading #54 is the better option again? (pro GM's/staffs get paid to project players draft slot windows/ misfits too,KC K. Toney, example only)

Took a look at some options, ruling out now FA's such as Tee Higgins or Michael Pittman. ^^

Most had rumors at last seasons trade deadline and have contract outs in the 2024 season. You know.. Stuff like, the Jets got to go OL with the 10th pick? But wait, misplaced WR Davante Adams could reunite with A.Rod for that #10 pick? -or- Washington, DC's DT Jonathan Allen to the built to win now Packers . Cost? 2.41 plus 4.125

Browns web-dork rumors really like calling the Denver Donkeys?

#1. LT Jedrick Wills age 24 on paid 5th year option in 2024 paying 14.6M

#2. Browns trade pick 2.54 to Denver for WR Jerry Jeudy age 24 owed 13M in 2024. Browns were rumored close to a deal at trade deadline last season. Rumored Denver passed on 2nd & 5th round pick. (team unknown)

Believable maybe, is the Browns on the clock, with draft names available? -Anybody think Denver would take Jed Wills off our hands for WR Jerry Jeudy straight up?

Other articles, seen options with age & out options in 2024..

#3. Denver---LT Garett Boles age 32 due 18-20M has a out in 2024. WR Cortland Sutton age 28 due 17M has a out in 2024. S Justin Simmons age 30 has a 2024 out option due 18.2M 👀  tied to that kind of money option? They'd be lucky to get a 6th or 7th rounder, if a no trade clause isn't in their contracts .
