  1. At one point after signing with the Browns, Richardson thanked the Browns for giving him "a home" (3 yr contract) & I think his excitement & appreciation for that will pay HUGE dividends! He is ALL IN!!! Mike
  2. It's just gonna make that Oline better, quicker & that's a great thing! Mike
  3. I LOVE a good Greek salad with Kalamata olives & feta cheese, although too much feta CAN overpower an otherwise great salad. John's Bar on Cleveland Ave NW in Canton has a great Greek salad. My standard order there is an order of smelt/cocktail sauce, a Greek salad & a beer or two. Gourmets may thumb their noses at that combo, but I love it! Mike
  4. It's not yet official, but it does appear he is signing with the Lions.Apparently he wants to start, which he probably wouldn't here. I wish him well & I applaud Dorsey for not overpaying for a 30 year old backup. We will survive. Mike
  5. THAT was definitely worth watching & hearing! Mike
  6. I will be at every home game, including preseason. Mike
  7. That's how things have changed for the Browns. In past years, we got to play teams whose stars were just coming OFF suspension. The tide has turned!! YES!!! Mike
  8. Bill, Don't ask me why, 'cuz it's just my gut feeling, but I didn't care for him coming into the NFL & I'm still not sold on Derick Henry. Time will tell. Mike
  9. When I got back from "Nam (1968), I was stationed in DC. We would go to the Varsity Grille in College Park Maryland where we could drink 16oz Carling Black Labels for $1.00 (yes, a BUCK!) & eat free peanuts in the shell until we were toasted. It was the 1st time I ever saw a 16 oz beer & don't ask how we got back to DC!...Remember the line.. "Hey Mabel! Black Label! Carling Black Label Beer!" POC? I never heard officially, but....."Pride Of Cleveland", "Pilsner Of Cleveland", & "Piss Of Cleveland" are what I have heard, depending upon your tastes. 😉 Mike
  10. I sure drank a bunch of that crap when I was in San Antonio. Cheap shit a Serviceman could afford. I swear the Army & Airforce kept them in business. I agree on Shiner Bock. Easy drinking, good beer. Mike
  11. But there's always KARMA! I'm hoping some NFL MAN breaks this chicken shit in two! Mike
  12. Thanks! I am always on the lookout for great hot dogs.....The great American Meal!!! Mike
  13. I agree it is not your normal hot dog, but it IS unique & those are the places that become "must stops" for many of us. They are definitely different destinations. Certainly worth checking out. The original (on Front St in Toledo) is the one to head for. Mike
  14. Good point. I have long maintained that these guys are all pretty super athletically & the difference is what I want in every draft..."I & I"..Intelligence & Intensity. Mike
  15. One slice of tomato is visible in the picture, & there was another slice or 2 under all that bacon. They also serve it with an xtra cup of mayo. I asked for "light lettuce". Mike
  16. We were in Traverse City, MI & Indian River, MI a few weeks ago. Stopped at Tony Packo's (Jamie Farr was there a few days prior) & also Tony's in Birch Run, MI (one of my "bucket list" destinations) for that BLT with a pound of bacon on it. Ate 1/2 there & 1/2 the next day. Next year I'll get it on rye. LOL Mike
  17. Unfortunately, there have been, and will be, many others like him in all sports. Those guys having the ability, but lacking the desire & determination to be great. Mike
  18. Thanks. I'm very interested in the 2 areas I have highlighted. I'll be following this. Mike
  19. Here's what I know about Baker....The Browns took him with the #1 pick, so what ANY team picking AFTER #1 means nothing & their intentions mean nothing post 2018 draft. WE got him & that's all that matters. That draft is past history. Mike
  20. I'm with ya on this Nickers!
  21. So is McDonalds. Hue could be the guy at the counter whose job it is to say, "You'll have to place your order at the kiosk Sir" to which the correct answer is "I'll place MY order at Wendy's". Perfect job for Hue...doing absolutely NOTHING that is productive. Mike
  22. I'm guessing (?? LOL) that Myles has his fair share of Fans other than Browns' Fans. It's nice to see him getting this well deserved praise from peers. Mike
  23. IF we trade him, even for a late rounder, the other team will most likely insist upon redoing his contract. If we cut him, good luck to he & Rosenhaus. After all, as Gumby noted, ol' Drew certainly got Pryor & Crow set for life, didn't he? LOL. Keeping him, IMO, is no longer an option. Mike
  24. Dorsey, IMHO, has earned enough credibility for me to trust he'll make the right move(s). After all, he had nothing to do with Mack or Schwartz. We'll see what happens. Mike
  25. I'm with Orion on this. This Team has come a long way. We've come too far to have a divisive force on the Team. Mike
