  1. BB in NE (my media handling hero) probably would have responded, "We signed Hunt". It's ok to ignore stupid questions & statements from the likes of MKC, Grossi, & Cowherd. Mike
  2. With deer whistles, you need to be at 35mph or more for them to be effective. First time I experienced them working was on a dirt road headed to fish the Au Sable River in Grayling Mich in 2006. My fishing buddy asked why a deer stopped in the road ahead. I told him I thought it was my deer whistles. I slowed as deer are usually in pairs (or more) & when I got down in the low 20s, not only did the deer in the road run off, but we saw the white tail of the 2nd deer (which had already crossed the road) as it took off too. You won't regret the purchase. Mike
  3. So did I, but after hitting deer twice in a month years ago (Dec 2005), I figured I would try them on all Family vehicles. Not one of us has hit deer since & every one of us can give multiple examples of deer stopping & occasionally reversing. Believe me, at 7 bucks or less a pair, they're worth it. Mixed reviews?....I was asked by another DW fan how many negative reviews may have been from body shops. Just a thought, but my experience is just that...EXPERIENCE! Try 'em. Mike
  4. Thanks Tom! I love the phrase "Who says I can't?". Friends of ours wouldn't allow "can't" to be said in their home. Anyone who said it was instantly corrected, often by their children. This video had me thinking of them. Mike
  5. Oh, I agree with you. As soon as Freddie said he "missed a flight", I thought, "...and now, the REST of the story". Mike
  6. Deer Whistles will work for you Bill. Inexpensive & they DO work. I put them on all Family vehicles years ago & we all can testify to multiple times where they worked. No hit deer in our Family since I started using them. I get mine at Auto Zone. Mike
  7. Not surprising. After it was said that he missed a flight, I figured he may be history & we'll never know the full extent of things that took place (or didn't). Mike
  8. I assume you refer to twitter, etc when you mention "smartphone". When will these players EVER (?) back off social media? Mike
  9. Freddie's https://www.clevelandbrowns.com/video/freddie-kitchens-odell-is-here-to-make-plays Baker's https://www.clevelandbrowns.com/video/baker-mayfield-i-expect-to-be-the-guy-that-everyone-can-count-on Old culture...media controlled Pressers...no more!!! Freddie & Baker saw to that. You just have to love these guys. Freddie certainly doesn't knuckle under to the media & he singled Grossi out today. I LMAO! Mike
  10. But what about bicycles??...You HAVE to watch for bicycles!!!! Mike
  11. Yeah? Maybe after you make it, eat it, & survive! I'll be sure to have LOTS of fresh ground salt & pepper! Mike
  12. Good luck in Carolina Gerald. Time for us to move on. Mike
  13. The Periodic Table - Bureaucracy Style Oxford University researchers have discovered the densest element yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (symbol=Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. It is also known in some scientific circles as Bureaucratium. These 312 particles are held in place together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called pillocks. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected, because it impedes every energy force or movement with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a day, to take from 4 days to 4 years. Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2 to 6 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganisation in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places (also called promotion). In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganisation will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as a critical morass. When it is catalysed with money, Governmentium undergoes a chemical change, reformulates, and becomes Administratium (symbol=Ad), an element that consumes just as much energy as Governmentium, but has half as many pillocks and twice as many morons. Mike......That's it, I'm off!
  14. I have grown real tired of the media bashing of OBJ. First, I'll say that I would have loved to see him at voluntary OTA's & think he should have been here, BUT they ARE voluntary & the media (esp Mary Kay & Grossi) need to get off his ass. He was signed to a huge contract last year by the Giants & was totally blindsided by the trade. I'm certain he had his offseason plans made, reservations made, confirmed, & probably paid prior to the trade, so they need to accept that & see what takes place when he gets here & hits the field. We finally have a "Super Star" in Cleveland, so why not just wait & see just how he takes care of business on the field where it counts.. The Browns culture has changed from "bush league" to "upper level" NFL. The Team, Fans, & League have bought into that. Now it's time for our "still bush league" media (MKC & TG) to can it with their negativity & buy into this culture change. It's been reported by them that Freddie is upset with OBJ. Listening to his PCs, I'm not hearing that. I'm hearing that he wishes OBJ was here & wants him to be here. IMHO, I feel his actual frustration is with the repeated, inane questions from the media & it's mostly those 2. I'm not sure whether or not I stated this properly, but the local, continued negative reporting at the most positive time we've experienced with our Browns in MANY years is disgusting. Just my opinion. Please excuse my rant. Mike
  15. I was thinking that may be a possibility. We'll see soon enough. Mike
  16. I always felt he was one of the best & maybe the most under rated QB in NFL history. RIP Bart. Mike
  17. While we may lack established quality depth on the OL, I am interested to see what OL Coach Campen can do with incumbents & what may still happen with acquisitions. I do feel that we have major Coaching improvement on the OL & STs. Time will tell. Mike
  18. I lack the technical expertise of many on this Board but it just seems to me that, with all the debate of who may start & where, we are looking at far less drop off in production if & when injuries happen. The depth on this Team seems to be constantly improving. Training Camp should be most interesting this year. Mike
  19. Combine training?.....HELL NO, not at my age! I'm in section 536 & have to climb to row 19...after walking in from our Tailgate, that's my exercise for the week. 40 time...less than 15 minutes, verts...1 1/2"...Broad jumps?...those days are long gone & I'm married anyway, 3 cone times...as long as they're filled with ice cream, who cares? Mike
  20. I just got in & saw it from the Browns. Good news. Mike
  21. As always, I'll wait to celebrate until the official word is out. Mike
  22. Myles is one helluva DE. I know it, you all know it, & NFL Teams know it. He will get a lot of "special treatment" from OLs this year. The big difference will be the guys on the DL with him. When MG is stopped, opportunities will be there for others & we have the horses now to take advantage of those opportunites. His sacks may go up, down, or stay as is, but his mere presence benefits the TEAM effort, whether or not he makes the tackle. Myles Garrett is a playmaker AND play creator for others. THAT (imo) is what makes him great & so valuable. DPOY (based on stats)? Who knows? DMVP (based on value to Team)? Quite possibly. We'll see. Mike
  23. To quote an old favorite song...."Don't know & I don't give a damn..." Mike
