You know how in baseball a 10 game stretch in June where a hitter only ekes out a handful of hits, and it is looked upon as "just something that happens to even the best hitters" a few times a season? But when a good hitter is hitting .130 after the first 10 games of the season, people panic?
Hopefully this is all this is concerning Freddie. One horrible game that - instead of happening randomly in the middle of his career - occurred right at the very beginning, making it seem worse than it really is in the big picture.
