The Browns tanked for two seasons under Sashi. I know it might rock the moral high ground some here think they are on concerning the Browns vs the Colts, but it is true. But if it makes people feel better about the Browns not making the playoffs 12 years ago, in a season where the team was tailing off at the end, then knock yourself out.

People who post under a name no one recognizes here. All the sudden "HUESUCKSBALLS" comes on the Tavern and starts talking shit about how the Browns are going to blow the game for three hours, drops some racist nonsense, starts picking fights, etc.

Sweet, perhaps it was after the Mets debacle of a series that they dropped to third in the wild card. Looks like the Indians are going to have to win about 95 games to get into the playoffs. I thought this was a 85 win team going into the season, so I'm shocked by how they've turned things around.

Man, that feels like it was three years ago. The regular season cannot start fast enough.

Funny thing is I was just going to credit nickers with a surprisingly empathetic take on Hue, but Unsympathetic made some seriously good points about Hue (and narcissists in general). Strangely I feel both guys are right, if that's possible.

Belichick wasn't winning more than 5 or 6 games total in 2016 and 2017 with those rosters. Practically every veteran on the roster was jettisoned. This was a tank job, pure and simple. Hue simply was a horrible pick to be a head coach of a young team that needed developed.
