In Training Camp news, Austin Corbett apparently played poorly in the scrimmage. I'm starting to think he's hurtling towards "bust" designation.

I think what is happening is that after Gipper posts some trivia thread that gets little to no reaction he starts pouting and pointing out what should be eliminated or moved in other threads.

Callaway gives the Browns the ability to open up the top of the defense, his ability to produce is important. Maybe not vital, but important. Landry and Higgins are more the move-the-chain guys, and OBJ is a spectacular talent when he's actually on the field. Callaway gives the Browns explosiveness in the pass game.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on Richardson. Is he a bust overall? Absolutely. But the Browns got a solid rookie season out of him (1300+ yards rushing/receiving) and then dealt him right at the beginning of his second season for a first rounder. In reality, Richardson didn't really hurt the Browns. (It was a dumb pick, though) Richardson absolutely killed the Colts, though.

Remember the argument Haley had with Hue about Hue letting guys sit too much during Training Camp and that Haley thought they needed to be on the field practicing more? I swear I think it was Duke specifically they were talking about

I'd be fine if ALL the leagues shortened their seasons, to be honest. 14 games for the NFL, 140-148 games for MLB, 60ish games for NBA and NHL. For the love of dog, shorten the NBA and NHL playoff season. I swear it feels longer than the regular season sometimes.

The stats NFL QBs are putting up now, even mediocre ones, are insane. Mayfield is going to obliterate every passing record the Browns have, way before he turns 30. (If he stays healthy, of course)

There were a lot of really good players on the 1985-1989 Browns, but the only player who I think has a chance for the HOF is Matthews, and that seems somewhat in the air.
