The injuries are really starting to pile up and I understand the wheels can fall off at any time but what Stef has had to deal with so far and we are 6-3 easily could be 7-2 is just remarkable.  The way the team fought back yesterday speaks volumes that they believe now.

We had our No. 4 tackle - and a guy many us didn’t know existed playing right and left tackle against one of the top defenses in the league.  It wasn’t perfect - but we rushed for 178 yards and got 24 first downs.

We had a backup come in a get a key INT.  We had a much maligned DT - draft bust up to this year- block a FG.

Stef had a good message post game about needing everyone- they certainly do. I like that he leaned on the run game when he loves to throw the ball…and essentially wore the Ravens out.

I'm sure this thread, like others, will be full of a lot of uninformed and ignorant hot takes. Not worth trying to address them all.

Right before all of this nonsense started to be slowly leaked in a clearly coordinated fashion, Harbaugh was about to sign a far contract extension. There are rumblings that this whole situation has just strengthened Harbaughs employment at Michigan, especially with our president's support.

A lot still needs to get resolved. I have no faith anything logical will happen, but the full strength of Michigan, our money, and one of the best law firms around will hopefully resolve this BS.

All this being said. I don't think he'll be in Cleveland next season haha.

I’m going to be Pro Michigan for one second…it is really hard.  The biased support from UM alumni I’ve seen - I’m actually applauding your alumni for not jumping ship however irrational they appear.

At the very least it is a lack of institutional control.  You hired the guy he’s making 50K standing next to guys making 7 figures and giving input during a game…and he’s apparently behind some rule breaking sign stealing scheme.  If no one talks the circumstantial evidence alone - makes an investigation easy- no matter what due process they seek.

And Resolve what? The response to the Big Ten was straight out of 5 year old playbook…well Johnny does it why is it an issue with us.  The NCAA if it wants to have a backbone like it had back in the day is going leave a size 13 shoe print on your asses.

    The hammer is coming.

    And please no Harbaugh.

I'm always amazed to talk to younger Browns fans who only know the new version of this team.

They are sadists, of course, but I'm still impressed by them.

they have one positive going for them…expectations are low.

It would be nice not to have any recollection of what this franchise once accomplished on a consistent basis.

8-9/9-8 would look good to some of these 20/30 somethings

I might have my chest puffed out if i watched the Jim Brown era.

I don’t even go back that far…my first Browns recollection….Browns Jets 1986 playoff game and then a period of 9 years where we had a nice run of playoff football.

not saying we win the first game. But we just can not turn the ball over and give them a short field

We didn’t play very good redzone defense last time…gotta hold them to kicks instead of TDs.  After that I think you gameplan on offense in a way that doesn’t magnify the void at the tackle spots.  I expect the Ravens to blitz off the edges heavily…you need to hit them in areas where the blitz is now vacating those spots.  We made a lot of rookie mistakes on offense staring down WRs I don’t think we gift them the same this time out.

And Yes flipside, shorter fields for our offense…maybe a Proche punt return (old team revenge)

  5. We sure have this ability to have  certain units completely impacted by injuries.

2021- I believe the secondary was out at parts of the year.  RBs too I believe.

    2022- LBs.

    2023- Tackles.

Ravens were pretty beat up the first game - but the QB play we had negated that advantage.

Tough matchup for our D…we play a lot of man coverage and it’s not the greatest recipe against a mobile QB like Jackson.
