  1. I would think Greedy and Johnson can probably be ready to play this week at least in some limited capacity. Wilson may need another week.
  2. Haskins definitely mediocre, he has some bad footwork leading to off target throws and I think we can get pressure against their offensive line from what I have seen so far.
  3. Hopefully getting some secondary players back will help. Even with Mack Wilson back I don't see our LB play being any good all season.
  4. Yeah the defense isn't good. I hope more playing time they will get better. Getting Greedy and Kevin Johnson back will help I hope. But the LBs and safeties leave a lot to be desired.
  5. They are not benching Baker the 2nd game into the season. Also a lot of this probably had to do with going against probably the best secondary in the NFL and falling far behind. Bet the tone of the game is different if OBJ catches that ball on 3rd and 2 at the end of the half. If we were able to have a more balanced attack Baker's numbers would have been better. Lets also not forget the whole team is learning yet another system for the 2nd year in a row and does so with less practice then they would normally get. I wouldn't panic after 1 game against a team that 14-2 last year.
  6. I am going to wait until at least 4 games in to reserve judgement. I don't think anyone should have expected us to win this game. New coaching system, not only did we not get the extra practices one would normally get, but got far fewer and no game situations either. So winning this game was not probably against a good team where they already know the offense and defense. My criticisms of what I did see was we should have run more, should have had a back in the backfield more to help pick pressures. Defensively, we didn't get alot of pressure and I thought the safety play left a lot to be desired. Lots of room for improvement, I would like us to be 2-2 after the first 4 games.
  7. My opinion is I don't like it, I just want to watch the game. I don't want anybodys agenda during a game. I am all for people peacefully protesting about anything they want and driving policy changes. Its your God given right. I am not for this mob mentality that is coercing people to think a certain way. The NFL changed its position because the mob forced them too. My feeling is NFL players can be a force for change, they have a big microphone to do so and can work in their communities and advocate for change and put money behind these ideas. Kneeling at a ball game never has and never will cause change. I like what someone said earlier, just keep the players in the locker room or tunnel during the anthem and then let them come out and play ball. I think we all agree that everyone should received equal treatment and justice under the law. And we should work to make change anywhere we need to, to ensure that happens. But that doesn't mean I am going to support this war on the police, or the violence, outing of everyone who may have said something 10 years ago that you don't like. Lets make it so that those in power are held accountable and are good stewards of that power and that we all just love and respect each other and on game day lets just play ball.
  8. Add Tony Brown WR, Colorado
  9. Couple more signed, Alex Taylor T, SC State and Javonte Moffat S, Middle Tn St.
  10. Something tells me the Browns offer had to be better than that. Redskins killed themselves by holding out too long.
  11. I thought the Ravens picks on offense werent game changes. Dobbins is a very good RB on a team filled with RBs he probably is the 3rd option. Three years from now is when that pick might be a problem. Duvernay is another tiny receiver for a QB who isn't the most accurate in the world, I don't see this guy being anything that elevates their passing game. Their picks on defense are much better in my opinion.
  12. I think Delpit is a great pick for us. One of the players I wanted to be in play for us today.
  13. I agree with these, I would love for us to get one of the top safeties.....Maybe there will be a run on RBs that will help push these guys down to us.
  14. I would be all for this move depending on the cost, we need more help on the DL to go with Myles.
  15. Looks like 20 million in the first year so last 2 years of the deal are much more friendly on the average pay out which is good considering you have Garret and Baker long term deals coming up.
  16. I don't mind this move, not a fan of the price tag, would rather we focused the money on the OL or DL.
  17. You may find the opposite to be true but you posit no facts to back it up. Yes its 100% logical there are more than whats recorded, not its not logical to say that Ohio has more cases than China and Italy combined. Thats stupidity.
  18. In Ohio or around the world? China is testing 10s of thousands a day, so the 100K is just grossly irresponsible. If you want to say we believe there are many more other there than have been reported and we cant to curb further spread etc, thats legit. Saying 100K is fear mongering.
  19. Except Amy Acton said we KNOW that 1% has it. OK fine, tell us how you know this, what you are basing that one. Since thats almost as many cases that have been reported world wide.
  20. Thats more cases than China has reported or Korea or Italy etc. I find that number to be made up. Also all the evidence to date that I have heard would mean that thousands of people would be seeking medical care, yet between the reported known cases and people under watch, total up to like 400 people in Ohio.
  21. Ryan Grigson is terrible. He doesn't know how to build a team nor is a good talent evaluator. I don't see why anyone would want him. Lets not forget the reason Andrew Luck retired early is largely the fault of Grigson.
  22. This hire I find uninspiring but I hope it works, I hope he is the guy who will bring the discipline needed to make this team play up to its potential. He doesn't have to be flashy, just do a good job. Any word if he will be calling his own plays?
  23. I think all the teams except us have a HC now. Panthers went with Ruhle and the Giants just hired some Pats assistant coach. So lets get this buttoned up, I think my preference is for Roman if I had to pick, I am concerned it might be McDaniels.
  24. The Haslams are chaos pure and simple. I think they mean well in their own way, but they are the Browns biggest problem. They lack the patience to see things through and make terrible football decisions. If they want this team to have discipline and stop the infighting etc, they need to lead, they need to set the standard. It you blow things up every couple of years, you will never win, it will only happen by chance. Did Freddie need to go....yes. I wanted him get another year but in week 17 he was still making the same bad decision as in week 1. He wasn't learning. At least if he improved even if they lost I would have been for keeping him around. Dorsey while not perfect was light years ahead of anything we have had. If you want to clean house dump Podesta, we haven't gotten better since he got on board, he should no way be in a power struggle with anybody....what does he do? This is lunancy.....if you wanted Podesta to have more say this should have happened a while ago not today. Its a panic move but the Haslams who clearly don't know what to do.
  25. I am not as optimistic as you are, I hope it turns out well but the Browns tracked record cannot be trusted, speaking of earning trust. Lets not forget we traded Kizer and Randall, a nobody for a starter. We traded Kessler for a draft pick, a bigger nobody for something. Traded for Jarvis Landry for a 4th and a 7th, seems like a bargain. This from a guy called a clown. Seems to me he was clowing other folks. Also let not forget getting a 3rd round pick for Duke.
