  1. If you said you would never find the exact word "hell" in the old testament or new testament then you'd have been correct. You stated you wouldn't find the concept (abstract idea or general notion). Pretty clearly gehenna, a place where both soul and body could be destroyed in "unquenchable fire", is a concept of hell found in the new testament.
  2. In the King James Bible, Sheol (old testament) is translated to Hell 31 times, "the grave" 31 times, and "the pit" 3 times. In new testament "Tartarus" (deepest pit of divine torture below hades) and "Gehenna" (a place where both soul and body could be destroyed in "unquenchable fire") are typically translated as either "Hell" or "Hell fire" in many English versions.
  3. Both he and siebert handled both kicking field goals and punting at their respective colleges. If both make the team we will have some versatility if one or the other gets hurt in a game.
  4. I'm aware it was a joke. And I typically don't defend hue. But there is something about living in a glass house and throwing stones. Po can't really jest and make fun of swinging and missing on what hue thought was going to be a good NFL qb when he was swearing Hogan was going to be great.
  5. Just like we had to trust you with Hogan Heroes? Both are just 3rd stringers.
  6. Browns offered him the most money. He was offered a more than fair contract. He thought he was worth more so he turned it down. Proceeded to go on the free agency tour. Schwartz found out Browns offer was the best came back asking for original offer. Browns took original offer off the table and lowered guaranteed a bit. He got pissed and signed with KC for less money. Sort of like the terrelle Pryor situation except the contract he turned down was given to Kenny britt so when Pryor came back there was no offer to give him. Alex mack, however just wanted out and took way less to play with a "contender".
  7. Good pick up. Our offense was loaded coming in and Dorsey has beefed up the defense and special teams really well in rounds 2-5. Absolutely love Greedy Williams. Takitaki Redwine and Wilson are all great depth and special teams pickups with potential to be starters. Austin siebert will definitely push for the kicker job. I believe he is the all time point leader in NCAA history.
  8. I would have loved Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and I'm not sure about takitaki but I'll trust Dorsey. He's earned that
  9. I bet Seahawks were going to take him great trade up by Dorsey to make sure they were picking in front of corner hungry Seattle. Before we traded 17th overall pick in the obj trade I was targetting/hoping greedy would slip to 17 and we got him at 46. Phenomenal

  11. Lol where did i say i don't like him being on the team. I expressed i was very happy giving up what we gave to get a top 5 wide receiver. Cautious because of his propensity to call out teammates and potentially cause division but optimistic none the less. I merely pointed out the other instances where he has acted like a primadonna because i thought maybe you had forgotten or were unaware, since you stated he had not done one single thing to merit being called a diva and just attributed it all to hating shurmur offense.
  12. His off the field mouth questioning other players' hearts and criticism of them is what leads to locker room division or cancer if you will
  13. The field goal net tirade while crying, headbutting a giant fan (cooling device) when things werent going his way, the calling out and criticism of his teammates in an espn interview. Eerily similar to a guy everyone here loved to rightfully call a diva, Antonio Brown, with his Gatorade table tirade and his public calling out of big gay Ben. There is more to it than just hating shurmur's offense.
  14. So when looking at the trade i looked at it two ways. If you look at what we gave up to get a top 5 wide receiver in the league talent wise we fleeced them and won the trade big time. Like If we had made this trade for deandre Hopkins who is not a prima Donna then I'm over the moon excited. I am not all out celebrating the trade because of the potential locker room cancer of obj. Hopefully he keeps his head on straight.
  15. Yeah I get that I was just being hypothetical that if he can't contribute because he doesn't know enough of the Playbook or whatever or there is some situation like that I wouldn't think it a shady move to not have him on the active roster for 1 to however many weeks it takes to get everything sorted out. Hopefully all of this is new and it's not a 10 game suspension.
  16. But if he doesn't know the offense because he couldn't get the Playbook I wouldn't consider it a dirty move. It's not a wise move to have someone on your active roster that can't contribute when called upon that day due to not knowing the plays.
  17. 6 games on the active roster, active being key word. So even if his suspension is 10 and he can't get the Playbook to learn the plays we could just not list him on the active roster for a week and then this year would not count as an accrued season. And he has a remainder of 5 games this year to get acclimated then hopefully a postseason run to get acclimated and a full year next year before he is actually a restricted free agent.
  18. If he is suspended 12 games doesn't that mean that we would actually get him for the remaining four games this year and another year because I think players have to be active for more than 25% of the season for it to accrue as a year on a contract. Much like Josh Gordon a couple years ago when he was suspended for the last game that season did not count towards his four-year contract.
  19. Correct according to rappaport "Per Rapoport, Hunt agreed to a one-year deal worth more than $1 million without factoring in the suspension. Hunt will be a restricted free agent at the end of the 2019 season." so if suspended 8 games I would assume it's only 500,000. And as others have mentioned the big kicker no pun intended is we own his rights after this year. So we can either sign him and he gives us a HomeTown discount being from Cleveland or we tag him and trade him if he blows up. The part that worries me is where this incident happened in where several other incidents have happened is in Cleveland because he is from here. So he's around all of his old friends from high school and they don't make the greatest decisions apparently. Taken from here https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/02/11/kareem-hunt-cleveland-browns-contract-john-dorsey-statement-hotel-incident
  20. Chubb already contacted Dorsey and asked for a trade. Dorsey asked him why? He said you guys just signed a guy that's going to take all my snaps. Dorsey told him no you got it all wrong we needed a great kickher. If we had one last year we would have been in playoffs.
  21. Of comments that I have seen most players that had the option to play both but chose football have said that if they could go back they would have played baseball. But again that just might be the grass is greener on the other side type thing. I haven't actually seen any players that could have played both but chose baseball comment on this. Like I want to see what Jeff Samardzija, Kirk Gibson Todd Helton etc would say.
  22. No one was talking about why. No one cared about why. that was not part of the discussion until you brought it up. It had nothing to do with debate/conversation.
  23. There aren't any statistics. There are multiple people on this thread stating that he would make more money in football than in baseball. Which is why Dutch/flying said on average baseball players make more than football players. Then you go and start spouting your nonsensical shit about roster size and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. I didn't see Dutch/flying say anything about roster size or cap room you just brought that up yourself. All I saw them state was it the average salary of an MLB player is higher than the average salary of an NFL player
  24. There are people debating exactly that. But again you have an incessant need to be right.
