They definitely called around for a trade. You have to find a willing partner. You can't make a trade if no one offers a trade which once it broke the browns were going with the hammer teams knew they were going to release him regardless.

They didn't trade a 2020 pick (no matter what round) for a 4 game rental. If they are going to drop a wide receiver for Calloway to return it will definitely be Ratley.

Obviously hunt will take the place of one of the running backs and when calloway comes off suspension he does likely take away an OL spot or maybe Burris or Thomas are taken off the roster. I'll be interested in Rico Gathers takes away Brown's spot as the third TE

The interesting thing to me there is all preseason we talked about how deep our wide receiver room is and we assumed we would keep 6 but only kept 5. I think only 5 were kept because of the uncertainty at the offensive guard situation (obviously not taking bitonio). After my guess of 37 I went to look up the answers that i didn't know i counted 34 qbs but i did count blanda as a qb (not sure if he got in as kicker or qb or both) Edit: I now see Conzelman was a coach as well so if he made it as a coach and blanda as a kicker that would get me to the 32. I was merely stating the majority of the opinions have been the opposite of yours so if you and hoorta were presenting your cases to the board, the board finds in favor of hoorta.
