  1. I am not worried about a move...for now. The city best get on the stick and plan on a new stadium. Ours is always ranked as one of the worst in the league. It was pretty average the day it opened. It's going to have to have a lid on it to make it work from a financial standpoint. It can't exclusively be used for 10 Browns games and a few summertime concerts.
  2. Probably prompted him to cheat. It's not hard to look like a defensive genius when you know the play that is going to be run. At least in baseball the hitter still has to hit the ball, which is hard in and of itself.
  3. Too many "needs" to happen, to happen. I'll just root to win out and see how it pans out.
  4. Nice post. I do take issue about looking up. They never look up. That is what pisses me off. They are in good position to make a play on the ball, but would rather watch the receiver catch it, then tackle them. On short passes, when they see the receiver start to look for the ball, they need to start looking for the ball. It's going to get there. On deep balls, when they see the receiver start looking, they can take a extra step or two because it isn't going to be there as quickly. I don't care if they pick it, just knock it down.
  5. I was the one who put that scar on that pussies lip. OK....maybe not, it will be the one on the other side.
  6. I want to see Carlson play a lot more. The guy was a very good receiver in college, and lets face it, anybody who can stiff arm like that needs to play. We don't need to keep playing cream puffs .
  7. Hospital Ward hasn't even been close to being good. When are those idiots going to start looking for the ball? The object of the position is to break up passes, not tackle the guy after he catches the ball.
  8. You might, but John Dorsey isn't.
  9. Sorry to say, Paul bucked that one up in a big way.
  10. Doug Atkins better be on the team. That guy was a beast.
  11. Thom Darden Bam Bam Ambrose Jerry Sherk Brian Brennen Josh Cribbs
  12. I hadn't heard that, but Freddie shouldn't explain why. To me that is a internal issue.
  13. Pat and I are staying at the Renaissance at the Terminal Tower and planned on hitting the Burke for a while. I know where those guys usually set-up. Maybe I will see you there. I agree, parking is a rip. The last several games I drive to the brookpark station from my usual hotels in Middleburgh Heights or Media, park for free and get a $5 day pass and take the train. Much easier and cheaper. It really doesn't take all that much more time
  14. A classic look will be the package where Chubb and Hunt are on the sidelines and Hilliard is in to gain the short 1st down yardage.
  15. I agree about inside pressure. I mentioned on another board I would put Garrett insdie fairly often. He most certainly would garner the attention of the center, biving a backer of safety a pretty good chance up through the A. The other DT would simply have to hit hard on the guard outside shoulder to keep him off the blitzer.
  16. Ok....how about trading OBJ and whatever to the Skins for Trent Williams. Maybe trade Hospital Ward and a pick or two for the guy.
  17. Why not? To me it is six of one, half a dozen of the other.
  18. The reason is the NFL isn't a developmental league without a minor league system. The NFL relies on the colleges to develop their players. Lets see how well guys like Corbett develop. My guess is they probably won't.
  19. I don't know. If I was in charge we would have left on Friday after practice. That said, it is harder to adjust going east.
  20. I like Deke, but feel it is about time for him to retire and put Joe in as the color guy.
  21. Right now he can say that because Baker isn't playing all that well. I think Bake let his initial success fatten his head a bit. Hopefully a few servings of humble pie shrink it back to normal.
