  1. I don't know man. If it's fairly balanced, 5000 see a bit much. Somebody is going to have 1400 yards or more. I doubt we have 5 receivers near 100 yards each.
  2. The only good in this is I have Hill on both of my money league keeper teams. Now I am not going to be forced to cut the guy when we have to trim our rosters to 12 on each side of the ball.
  3. I agree, fries topping anything is a bad idea in my book. I want them on the side.
  4. I don't buy the greedy part or the trying to ruin it part. Any business is always trying to grow it's market. Forget the owners are mostly billionaires. Millions doesn't cut it anymore. Pretend they are just like Mom and Pop diner owners. They seek to bring in new customers. Large scale or small, the goal is the same, increase customer counts and sales. The business model doesn't change
  5. I am just making the point, forget the location. I'd like to see all the teams hit the road, then the entire team on bye the following week. If the league felt it couldn't shut down the entire league, set 10 teams to go neutral site the following week with their bye after that. That way 10 teams could fill the entire Thursday through Monday slate. Play these games say week 5,, week 6 is a bye for most of the league, week 7 for the 10 other teams. Also, offer up another bye after week 12, week 13 for the ones designated to play in week 12. Seems a more fair way of handling the bye. Some teams get them way early, others way late. Basically give everybody the same, evenly spaced breaks. For the record, I am not a big fan of international play outside North America, but it is what it is. We could probably find 16 cities in this part of the world that would jump at the chance to see a NFL game played locally. Kind of like GB played games in Milwaukee for many years. The Browns could play in Columbus. Cincy in Lexington. Obviously when it was their "home" game. Buffalo in Toronto, Seattle in Vancouver, Dallas in San Antonio, AZ in Albuquerque ...OKC would get a game. Birmingham and Memphis could host a game. Mobile, Montreal,...there are natural places for most of the teams.
  6. I like the 17 game schedule with 1 played at a neutral site. I would like to see all of those games played the same week if possible. Jet lag from Cambodia sucks.
  7. 87 is a grand life span. Well done Vince. R.I.P.
  8. I didn't mean to minimize things....Njoku caught around 60 balls last year. I just don't see him being featured like a gronk
  9. I am sure Dorsey has been shopping Duke, and it appears the offers aren't rolling in at this point. Dorsey knows that backs value has diminished over the last 4-5 years, so he is probably hoping for a 4th rounder but would take a 5th if it was mid round up. He is probably only getting 7th round offers at this point. That may get better as camp wears on. Duke best hope we don't simply cut him(which we probably won't) because he won't get as much money as we are paying him.
  10. Our TE's are good enough, especially since it will be a fairly non-featured position except maybe in the red zone with Njoku's length. It is probably going to be more of a check down option for Baker, and he doesn't check down all that much.
  11. It could. However, a lack of consistent chances tends to knock some of the luster off the "star". I live 11 miles from the Georgia state line. I watch a lot of Georgia football and was a big fan of Sony. I think he is a great back.
  12. He should be but Belicheck isn't very reliable in who he features week to week when it comes to running backs..too much rotation in the backfield
  13. Based on what I saw last year in his limited chances and the reports from the coaches this year.
  14. Dontrell Hilliard is as good as Duke.
  15. I agree. I wasn't saying that as a put down. I think we need to look at him there as well as guard..
  16. His 32 5/8" arms will push him inside. His quickness and agility could move him to center.
  17. I can see the Seahawks as a 4:20 kick and be the feature afternoon game shown over most of the country. A few markets would get a local game.
  18. I agree. I think it was a bad move to move on from him.
  19. I wish both Stanley and your father-in-law could be here for this.
  20. You don't know that. We still have a 2nd, a 3rd, a few 4ths, and Duke. That and you don't know some of the target players John knows about and you don't. Even John Dorsey can't fix everything in 2 years.
  21. Looks like a lot of people in here need to send Tony a note of apology.
