It's a ridiculous concept.

To be honest I doubt the any kind of a ban will make much difference, I don't think people in those parts of the country are solidly recorded in any particular system and it would be pretty easy to make some shit up and come on over anyway but unfortunately it's the one particular religion that's causing the problems in this case. Maybe that sounds unfair to the ones who don't mean us harm. That's unfortunate. You go ahead and pretend it's something other than what it is.

I dont understand this stupidity, if domeone already has their legally obtained visa you dont hold them up. All trump is doing is making a sound idea turn to shit. Im sorry i agree with the ban in principle but like one of those guys that got detained today was an interpreter for U.S contractors. I mean in trumps own self interest do you really want to start drawing the ire of companies that do contract work in some of these places for the st dept?

 

It would have been as simple as adding a sentence, one fucking sentence to the executive order allowing in those already in the air. Stupid. Just amazingly stupid and it lets the left seize on their narrative.

 

Its the same with mexico. Their president seemed to want to neg with trump but before anything could even happen "20% TAX!!!!"....and now mexico has said fine fuck you then. Just not the cool customer, so far at least, that he promised us he was. Obama was seemingly much better at this.

There is a more important reason these three countries were left off the Trump's bullshit list. They are all strategic allies of the United States. Trump literally called Egypt's president Sisi before the UN resolution to condemn Israeli settlements went down. He asked Sisi to not propose the resolution at the UN, and Sisi agreed.

Where are people supposed to go now for a stoning or beheading?

The first point to remember is they call themselves something that, when translated to English, means "Islamic State" They don't like to be called Daesh, but that's what everyone in the Middle East calls them because one of several meanings of the word Daesh is an Arabic insult, and everyone hates them there.

 

Isis, in the Arabic language, refers to the Ancient Egyptian Goddess, Isis, and despite the ravings of a mad lunatic, has nothing to do with ISIS.
