The Gipper
And here you go: Ohio colleges attended by Potus guys: Hiram College: Garfield Kenyon: Hayes Mt. Union: McKinley Ohio Central College, now a part of Muskingam: Harding Cincinnati Law school: Taft Miami, Oh. Benjamin Harrison. MIami is the only one of these that also had a PFHOFer: both Paul Brown and Weeb Ewbank (and Ben R. eventually)
The Gipper
And here is something else I suspect that you did not know: of all of our Presidents...ONLY 6 of them graduated from Law School: Nixon. R.B. Hayes. Obama. Taft. Ford. Clinton. (if Biden wins he would be 7th) You say: How can that be? : Because a number of others attended law school...but did not graduate; and many, back in the "old days" did the Apprentice thing: Presidents who were lawyers but did not attend law school include: John Adams; Thomas Jefferson; James Madison; James Monroe; John Quincy Adams; Andrew Jackson;Martin Van Buren; John Tyler; James K. Polk; Millard Fillmore; James Buchanan; Abraham Lincoln; James A. Garfield; Grover Cleveland; Benjamin Harrison; and Calvin Coolidge each of whom achieved their status as a lawyer through independent study. Presidents who were admitted to the bar after a combination of law school and independent study include; Franklin Pierce; Chester A. Arthur; William McKinley; and Woodrow Wilson. Here are the ones that did not graduate from any college, but many did attend: Did not graduate from college[edit] George Washington (the death of Washington’s father ended his formal schooling; however, he believed strongly in formal education, and his will left money and/or stocks to support three educational institutions and he received a surveyors certificate from the College of William and Mary)[1] James Monroe (attended the College of William and Mary, but dropped out to fight in the Revolutionary War) Andrew Jackson Martin Van Buren William Henry Harrison (attended college including Med school at Penn, but never received a degree) Zachary Taylor Millard Fillmore (founded the University at Buffalo) Abraham Lincoln (had only about a year of formal schooling of any kind) Andrew Johnson (no formal schooling of any kind) Grover Cleveland William McKinley (attended Allegheny College, but did not graduate; also attended Albany Law School, but also did not graduate) Harry S. Truman (went to business college and law school, but did not receive a degree from either)
mjp28
You won't see that again but it was a different time back then. Now college is pretty much a prerequisite to run even statewide, grad school is pretty much needed to run for president. Overkill or a necessity now? The Gipper
On the other side of the coin: Our most "learned" Potus would be Woodrow Wilson. He is the only President to ever be a Ph.D. (Johns Hopkins). His undergraduate was from Princeton. He also attended the University of Virginia Law school, but did not graduate. Also...the only Potus with an MBA: George W. Bush Harvard. Kennedy took graduate business courses (but did not degree) at Stanford. The only Potus to study medicine: William Henry Harrison, as noted above. Again, did not graduate.
mjp28
I thought Trump had an MBA from Warton? I thought there might be a few more. Born and raised in Queens, New York City, Trump attended Fordham University for two years and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He became president of his father's real estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations to building or Oh only a bachelor's in Economics? Nor did Reagan, nor Carter. Kennedy took grad level courses, but did not degree. Ike had no Grad school, but did take course in military instruction which today could be considered graduate school. Truman did not graduate from college. This just since WWII.

No, business was his undergrad major, but no grad school. (FYI: both Biden and Harris have law degrees. Biden went to Delaware and then Syracuse for JD. Harris went to Howard and then Univ. of Calif. Hastings for law degree) And, I did not know that nor this before just now looking it up: Pence undergrad was at Hanover College in Indiana, plus he has his J.D. from Indiana U. NO HOF Law degree: Syracuse. HOFers: Jim Brown, Floyd Little, Larry Csonka, Marvin Harrison, John Mackey, Art Monk, Jim Ringo Pence: Undergrad: Hanover College. The combos that teamed up for the most TD passes. Example: Joe Montana to Jerry Rice. (but FYI, that one is only 19th on the all time list...so you don't need to consider it.)
