A.T. Perry

Luke Wypler

Dawand Jones (he height/weight gives me pause though)

Carl Brooks from Bowling Green was another way late rounder to PUDFA I was watching with interest.

Keondre Coburn will be there late as well.  His teammate, Ojomo, looked like a better 3t prospect though.

Ivan Pace Jr gives off that London Fletcher build.

Andre Carter is a great athlete, but he's too tall to consistently play that 2pt LB.  So you'd be taking him and trying to make him play a position Alex Wright did his entire collegiate career.   Painful transition majority of the time. Although he uses his hands better than Alex.

For my super dark horse late-late Tour OL tribute - Mafi from UCLA.   But his footwork on pulls needs improvement.

Keaton Mitchell RB ECU

Mo Ibrahim RB Minnesota.  I

Jaelyn Duncan T Maryland….looks like a scheme fit for us.

Dorian Thompson Robinson QB UCLA….we seem to like him a lot

No reason why Wypler and Jones should be Day 3 picks…man they are needed badly this year at OSU

Here's some guys I wouldn't mind seeing the Browns add in random order:

1. ILB Henry To'oTo'o, Alabama 6'1" 230lbs.  Started 2 seasons for the Tennessee Volunteers before Alabama put him on their payroll; but shhhhhhh!  Anyway, if I wasn't so busy drooling about Daiyan Henley - To'oTo'o had a lot of goodies on film.  My Draft Guide, that wasn't all that accurate with their projections has him as their #1 ILBer ahead of Campbell with a round 2 projection (while they only gave Campbell a 3rd round projection). Now you know why my draft English sounds Martian after following their lead.  This guy can also help us on STs if that's where he's needed most at first. Here's a quick glance of what he can do for a defense.

2. WR Parker Washington, Penn State 5'9" 210lbs.  I blame @Dutch Oven for my Queer Eye for the Big Play Guy here. Early on, he earned Freshman All American honors. Aside from what he can open up for the passing game, Washington was also an exciting punt returner.  Day 3 of the draft is supposed to be about guys that can also play special teams.  Wasn't that how Antonio Brown and Steve Smith got their starts as return specialists before the Pro Bowls at WR?  I'm not as wild about Elijah Moore as other are; but I could be the one that's wrong with that.

3. DE Adetomiwa Adebawore, Northwestern 6'2" 275lbs. Great value on day 3 where we need to keep bettering the talent here for those competing to earn reps. Many thought he'd be picked by now.  Lindy's draft has him as a 3rd-4thRound projection.

4. ILB Ivan Pace, Jr, Cincinnati 5'11" 235lbs.  Earned All American honors after transferring from Miami of Ohio to Cincy for his last season. Great instincts perpetuate this guy's ability to play faster than his footspeed.  Reminds me of Ray Lewis who fell in the draft to you know who because of a freakin 40 time.

5. OT Blake Freeland, BYU 6'8" 307lbs.  Time to plan ahead at LT and I like this guy's experience at the position.

6. OT Dawand Jones, Ohio State 6'8" 360lbs.  Huge guy we've seen a lot of with an insane wing span of 89 inches.  Unfortunately, he doesn't move like he'd ever be a fit at LT so he'd have to be insurance for Jack Conklin at RT.  Given his impressive high school basketball background, he might even be fun to see as a 2nd TE lining up to the right of Conklin or the left of Wills.

7. CB Kelee Ringo, Georgia 6'2" 205lbs.  Blazing speed/quicks, Ideal height and weight which will be needed now that one of his teammates (Darnell Washington) will be either be catching passes or blocking DBs for the hated rival.

8. CB Eli Ricks, Alabama 6'2" 190lbs.  Love the height. Began his college career starting as a Freshman All American. The 1 position group Nick Saban coaches is the Cornerback position.

9. OT Ryan Hayes, Michigan 6'6" 301lbs. Despite having short arms for a guy with his height playing LT - he's a scrappy guy that overcomes his limitations enough to be very reliable at LT.  I had him in my mock draft so I'll put him here.

Thanks - we'll keep an eye out for Mitchell.  ECU quietly has a pretty good little RB tradition over there. Earnest Byner and Chris Johnson did some impressive things at the next level.

Nice list!  I wanted to give you one of those emoticon thatta boys/fanny pats but I gave out so many in our draft thread last night that I'm temporarily in time-out for that stuff.  When I did my list I didn't realize you Pace on your list.  With Henley and Pace, seems like we have the same taste in LBers.

Mafi from UCLA.  Okay, he'll be on our radar.

I think he fits our scheme well….wide zone scheme finding space running away from people making guys miss.  Tape looks electric not a lot tough runs though - lots of wiggle and speed

Chubb/Ford/Mitchell would be a nice trio and would complement each other well.

From the earlier post on the Draft Prospects thread:

"Ones to watch for besides tia's RBs and Army Edge Andre Carter II that CBS rates #71 overall. Add A&M's Safety Antonio Johnson rated #70. Alabama CB Eli Ricks rated #93. " So I definitely agree with Flugs on Ricks.

Thanks Aggies!  I didn't put any TEs or Safeties on my list; but I'd be happy with Antonio Johnson as well as the closest thing we can find to a dual purpose TE.

Can't find online article linking it, but yesterday PFF room was saying the reason he fell is that Dawand showed up to the combine overweight and was unwilling to answer questions from teams.  Could be total smoke but curious to verify.  Hopefully he'll have a good attitude when he shows up because if he's bought in, could be a good replacement for either OT.
