 Going as planed ..

don't let Watson extend plays taking on extra nonsense hits

Shot shoulder should loosen up to accurate as Coop pass..

RUN the damn ball Kevin !

Would love to see that sack play again. Feels like a throw was probably there, even if it's a "my guy or no guy catches it" type toss. Still, feels like another missed running opportunity to get it to 3rd and medium. It took coach a few series to get the flow last week, and he called a terrific game to until last play where he failed to run it. I have faith Stefanski will get it done.

Dumb play call Kev

Not really.   Watson faces one of the highest blitz rates in the NFL.  The coaches have made efforts to directly get David the ball on multiple designs.    That Z shift we've shown has opened up a couple lanes, the wrinkle off of that is the screen.

On this time, Zona just bluffed the pressure and one of the better safeties in the NFL recovered to make a great play.

Forward thinking by the Browns, great hustle by the Cards defense.    Sometimes you have to appreciate the game all around.

Great tackle by Buddah in the open field on the Chief.

So right. If not, that offsides is likely a first. I'm actually OK with the play call. 3rd and 14 in the red zone is a beeotch and we HAD to get points there. Not pretty, but Watson did make a helluva throw, even if he did have to put his whole soul into it. Nice drive, guys.

Red zone is a dead zone

Yeah...that negative 2nd down play kills. Really curious if something was there, but Watson still needs to find a way to throw it away. It's OK, we got points and we know Watson can throw.

Can't complain.   Defense is wrecking shop so far.   What this game serves as a greater purpose, is slowly getting Watson into form.  Or more to the point, seeing the form he can currently work at.   He's moved well in the pocket and done well buying time to throw so far.    Zona defense doesn't have much of a pass rush and their corners are questionable.

We've already sprinkled in an RPO we didn't show until 3 weeks of playing time with Walker.  So it's clear there is some testing of the waters.
