I think Baker did what he was expected to do today. Windy as hell it was a running game day and just don’t make mistakes.

Football comfort food day. Homemade creamy tomato basil soup with a homemade 90 second keto bread grilled cheese and bacon. Tasty.

Nice fall day to smoke. Smoked with a blend of hickory and cherry wood. Pork belly, pork belly burnt ends , a new thing for me in Beef belly and lastly bacon wrapped fresh cut vidalia onion rings. Good eats for tomorrow’s game.

Jambalaya style dish for the game today with some keto smoked Gouda “grits”. Made about two gallons of the jambalaya between my Blackstone griddle and a huge pot.

Took a break from outdoor cooking today. Game day keto style was Veal Meatballs in creamy Marsala sauce with rosemary scalloped Fauxtatoes (Daikon based). Dessert Chocolate Silk Cheesecake in a peanut butter cookie crust with cookie crumble and peanut sauce and also Magic Bars.

I will sit and eat a can of cold Spam with some cheese, tomatoes and mayo and some of my bread and butter pickles and peppers.

Haven’t had a lot of time to post this year. Did these beef short ribs and beef back ribs in the smoker Saturday. Smoked with B&B hickory lump and seasoned hickory wood chunks. Used a nice Dirt style rub which is essentially savories, salt,pepper and activated charcoal. Great taste and makes for a very dark bark.

I’m mothballing the points league for this year. I haven’t had time to track down and fill the league and it’s also just going to be a weird year to manage with the virus. As I mentioned in an earlier post League V I’ll not have time for either. Hoping to be back to normal next year.

I will be happy to participate in a league but do not have the time to chase down people as commissioner of the head to head league this year. Is someone interested in taking over as commissioner. I will commission the points league if three is enough interest WELL in advance of draft days. Begging and constant emailing the last. Oriole years to fill leagues just gets old.

Hes knocking it out of the park. Love all the signings. Any team that got Hooper would have been at the highest paid TE level. Love Keenum to push Baker. Baker knows right now that he better excel or Keenum can start. Conklin awesome too.
