You act like this is the first time in recorded history an opponent has swung a helmet at another player in a game. Fact is it’s not. Antonio Smith swung Ritchie Incognitos helmet at him in a game. He missed but the action occurred. He got suspended for 1 regular season game along with missing two preseason games. Hell Haynesworth spiked stomped a guy and got less. I don’t disagree that Myles should get some degree of suspension. That said the severity of his was 100% driven by public outcry amplified by today’s media and social media frenzy.

Kareem Hunt said in a phone interview that there was more that happened on the field that set Myles off than people know. Couple this with the fact the NFL says there is no audio despite the fact there is a parabolic mic pointed right at the fight just a few feet away. This was a witch-hunt based on public outcry. Suspend him 4 games, sure it’s fitting and in line with precedent. Indefinite, hell no. Icing on the cake Rudolph the instigator of the entire damn thing gets 0 suspension.

Oh I am a Kroger shopper for sure. I’m there every Saturday. Hell our one local Kroger even carries Ohio raised Berkshire pork. I honestly don’t know if we get our monies worth a Sam’s but I’d do buy a lot of foil pans and take out type containers of all sizes there. Bulk nuts too.

Our Sams Club usually has a fair selection of prime beef. Usually ribeyes or strip.

The not I look at the sequence of events I am astounded Rudolph wasn’t suspended. It is crystal clear he instigated the entire thing with multiple actions outside the rules. 1) He clearly grabbed and twisted Garrett’s helmet sideways 2) He kicked Myles in the balls 3) After Myles ripped off his helmet HE WAS BACKING OFF AND RESTRAINED!! Rudolph charged him with clear malintent. Rudolph admitted in interview that he charged him because he was angry. It was when he was charged Myles swing the helmet. It was done in self defense and was uncontrolled reaction. Myles should be suspended but it should be reduced. Mason should get multiple game suspension. Great post in another forum from an attorney who says in court it would be easy to build and win a case of self defense.

Should Myles be suspended? Of course. Should Rudolph be suspended? Damn right!! Should Myles suspension bet indefinite, HELL NO. Last time a player used a helmet as a weapon in a game the suspension was 3 games. Rule 12 includes this action specifically. (source USA Today) "As we pointed out earlier on Friday, this isn’t completely unprecedented … and there’s actually specific language about it in the NFL’s rules. Rule 12 in the rulebook covers “player conduct” and all the way down to Article 17, there it is: “Use of helmet as a weapon.” “A player may not use a helmet that is no longer worn by anyone as a weapon to strike, swing at, or throw at an opponent,” it reads. Can Garrett appeal this for a reduced suspension? I read that Antonio Brown hit a player in the head swinging his helmet and got a 4 game suspension so there is precedent. If he had really beaned a solid blow to Rudolph he would have been knocked out. No doubt he deserves suspended but I would appeal. Rudolph should have been suspended at least one game as the instigator.

Per 5 pounds of meat of your choice. I got to the butcher and have him give me the same pork grind he uses for sausage. Could also grind your own pork maybe a combo of butt and pork fat to get around 80/20. Can be made into patties or stuffed into casings. Was listening to AM 850 ESPN and they were saying there is a rumor that on that play Baker told Hubbard to go off sides so that they kicked instead of stupidly went for it on 4th down. Further they said you can clearly see Landry, OBJ and Hunt all making kicking motions. Perhaps Freddy and his weird decisions are really starting to lose the team.

The addition of Hunt as a check down and target is helping almost immediately I would say. Getting Higgins out of the doghouse and back on the field will be great as well. If they default back to weed head jr. tomorrow instead of Higgins that will truly suck.
