For most organizations I’d agree that McD perhaps overstepped his bounds. Keep in mind however he was not an employee but one interviewing to be one. Anyone well versed in interviewing is not just also interviewing the prospective employer. With Haslams track record of meddling and forcing bad decisions it entirely reasonable to want that changed prior to accepting the job. I will give you that perhaps the weekly meeting is a bit overblown, that said of the 32 teams how many owners do you think are reviewing game plans on Mondays??

I thought this too but word is that Haslam was not open to the changes McDaniels wanted to make. The biggest of those being him not meddling and also diminishing the role of Depo. McDaniels wasn’t hired because Jimmy wouldn’t get his fingers out of the pie. GET THIS - Dustin Fox is reporting that Stefanski has to sit down on Monday’s and review the gameplay with Haslam and Depo. If this is true we are doomed until that asshat is gone.

I believe we fucked it up again. Stefanskis offense isn’t impressive to me. He’s another first time learn on the job never head coach. The only thing that might make me feel better is if he brings Kubiak as OC. Rumor is that he’s going to tab Pat Shurmur as OC which makes me throw up in my mouth a little. I agree that it can be tough to get a call right in real time. That said there are egregious calls AFTER they review the plays seeing things in slow motion from all angles. Tinfoil hat or not when they get those wrong it has to make you wonder. Relative to the Njoku play perhaps I am wrong and am open to hear feedback but it was not a fumble. In countless angles he had the ball and was down. The call on the field both really time and after a long review was a fumble recovered by the Bengals. The official game log was changed to record it as an interception. It surely was not an interception. If he was down (which he was) and both he and the defender had the ball it defaults to the receiver as a catch.

Benching the guy for one game is the punishment. Still punishment if it was against the Bengals. Hell for that matter do what really hits them, fine the shit out of him. I fully support discipline for his missing practice. That said they could have benched him vs. the Bungles instead of this game. You have to balance discipline with winning games as well.

Growing up ours was much like calfox. Lately ours will be a whole turkey roasted in the oven with stuffing. I always do a couple turkey breasts and sometimes a whole turkey in the smoker. We will have real mashed potatoes for the guests who eat them , green beans with bacon and onion, a broccolli cauliflower salad, rolls, cole slaw. Sometimes my wife makes a sweet potato casserole but lately as we have been doing keto she does not.
