  1. Ryan Watts, former Buckeye - had a 4.5. Tall, long armed, on-ball DB.
  2. What you're saying makes no sense and nobody with an ounce of sense should make that argument. You're getting input and a workout environment from some of the best trainers money can buy. If anything, it's good seeing Myles with Lebron. The dude has been a tank the overwhelming majority of his career. He and his trainers can impart some advice to maintain health, along the lines of what Brady preaches with muscle pliability.
  3. Bingo. LB play hurt us more than WR play this past season. Sir, this is a family environment. Not sure we can permit such dirty talk on this board.
  4. Speaking of Detroit IDL - Alim McNeil is going to get PAID 😭😭
  5. What do you think drives clicks for advertising? It's the off-season. And, despite the fact that there is plenty of actual good football material to be unpacked and shown to fans from the course of the 2023 season; we instead focus on the lazy, the inflammatory and intrusive. Sports media is tabloid media.
  6. This is why, the top adds and bonus bets with promos at the forefront of EVERY gambling site/app are usually parlay based. A couple reasons. - bet:win ratio which entices gamblers to "only" spend a much lesser amount. In turn, you get people who nickel and dime themselves to death off $5-20 bets. It's no different than playing scratch off lottery tickets in that case. Not so much in odds, but in them essentially being micro transactions where you will lose the majority you play. But you'll chase the high off one win. I have a buddy of mine, god love him, that's been chasing a 5 leg parlay from a couple years back that won him just over $1000. When I told him to look at his total win/loss over that same span, he "felt" he was hanging around even, he was pretty well in the red. - parlays are (long term) mathematical Russian roulette. Only difference is you have 5 in the chamber of a 6 shooter. So really it's suicide. The combined risk to sink all, with even a push costing you your ticket, are what books count on. Where else, especially with these books being businesses that fight for customers, in typical single wagers, a push now means your initial bet is just refunded. 6 years ago a push meant a loss when I was studying. I said it on here before, but the ability to emotionally remove yourself to make smarter decisions is a rare tool people work to develop. The NFL knows people have an emotional attachment to their teams and will blindly back them in religious devotion. Books know this, they are not your friends and absolutely count on these things to take advantage for their profit. Hell, half the wagers I've made on the Brownies the last 5 seasons have been against them when they, or their opponents, been over/under valued in the market.
  7. Oh I know. Myles winning, more specifically enjoying the yinzers crying about it, has been covered quite a bit on this board. But when you're nothing but a poli board troll who only checks in to troll the football side to make it look like you're "apart" of the board... Yeah, you tend to miss a lot.
  8. It isn't just the double team rates, but a combination of that, drawing opposing blocking assignment, pressure rates vs double team rates and alignment. Where Myles rushed from the interior quite a bit more than Watt. To me, anyway, interior pressure scores > edge pressure scores. This is why Aaron Donald had been considered the most dominant defensive player in the NFL for such a long stretch.
  9. Dear god, shut THEE fuck up. Just like a couple other posters on this board, you're in the closet. At least in your case it means being a Steelers fan.
  10. There isn't a hetero man alive that says this sort of thing to another man. Now things are really starting to make sense. Old boy is raking his leaves at night. Edit: oh shit, a random power ranking list?!?! Damn, that's it, Watson should retire.
  11. No, no, no, no. But mention Baker and I swear to Christ, dude has a Bat signal go off at his house to jump on this board.
  12. Sometimes, despite your best efforts, you still end up losing a game. Can't win em' all. That last Superbowl loss in 2019 looms large under the wound of the most recent loss. Great leaders hold themselves and the proper people accountable. Kyle Shanahan is a great coach, play caller and offensive mind. But the one thing severely lacking in this world are true leaders. I don't view young Shanny as one given this development.
  13. I'm still trying to find time to finish up my diagrams of the Wildcard loss. Defensively, from the mind of coach Spaggs to the rushing technique of the Buckeye duo on the Niners edge, there's a lot to unpack and enjoy from that side of the ball alone. If you appreciate defense, like you should, it was a solid game.
  14. SF + 2 CMC Anytime TD Pacheco 15+ carries
  15. Purdy getting a little too comfortable with some of these throws. Damn near leading receivers into coverage.
  16. Top of my watch list for my mid round IDL's.
  17. Bingo. As much as I hate to say it, because I'm not one for tax payers footing the bills... the current land the Stadium is on can be redeveloped for downtown condo's and apartments. Along the lakefront, it would make CLE incredibly attractive to go along with the heart and soul she's got.
  18. Maybe it's just me, but I find more contentment in scouting for the middle to late rounds. Usually first round ability is self-evident. I pride myself on having an eye for talent, and that eye is incredibly useful (necessary) when the waters are muddied past pick #32. It's sort of a competition I like having, with myself and/or others, on seeing whose picks workout. That was something Tour, god rest him, and myself had a fun back n forth on. Those are also the picks that support your star players. And the roles they fill are vital as a collective. Roster turnover at the mid to bottom. When you realize how important those roles are, you'll find excitement in finding those players.
  19. For .....what? You want me to earmark this kid down so I can do a review or...? The Tommy Eichenburg in the 5th is interesting. I love T.E. for the Buckeye he is, but I have questions about his eyes and landmarks in coverage. And his ability to work to gaps off misdirection. scUMs biggest adjustment the 2nd half of that game was working their weakside plays off that ghost jet. Tommy was routinely a couple steps behind. We already have enough LBs on the roster like that.
  20. That is also my concern, his blocking is mostly just being the bigger and stronger guy. His feet can be quick enough, but his technique in both phases is poor.
  21. Trying to, in my limited time, focus on a small handful of position group. OL, DL, maybe some LB. I keep seeing Kingsley's name brought up, and for a man his size, I have to give my early concerns after watching two of his games. - His hand work and striking sucks - Need serious development on a proper kick step Without those two things, at the NFL level, he's going to be target practice. I have more of him to watch, but the initial finders weren't ideal. 6'6 330lb is a lot of mass to move. If you don't have good hand work to offset the heavy feet, we have problems.
  22. Entirely possible. He's a FA that was on a 1 year deal and couldn't finish the season healthy. He had a very solid year, but being on the lookout for rotational pieces who can meaningfully contribute in certain roles comes with extra focus on cost.
  23. I enjoy a bit of Prodigy. This was a morning warm up song of mine for a long time.
  24. Wondering how Mikey Hall would look as a mid round replacement for Mo Hurst? This team could use that upfield, sub package interior rush.
