I don't know, this season seems to be shaping up to be one where a team can win 93, 94 games and still get shut out. The Indians have their best record at this point of the season since '99, but if the season ended last night, they'd be on the outside looking in.

It matters because he's a football player who kind of (and at the end of the day I doubt Jones loses sleep over it) talked shit about another player. When a player talks shit about another player, it gets attention. You, the biggest homer on this board, would have lost your mind if Roethlisberger had said something about Baker's draft position. You would have rambled on for days about it, posted one trivia post after another that no one paid attention to, then pouted because no one paid attention to them, chastised people for commenting on other threads because you were butthurt no one posted on yours, and then bitched more about how Roethlisberger insulted Baker. It would have been quite a scene Gip.

I can't stress enough how much I hate the idea of a 18 game regular season. I don't care if the rosters have a small village per team... I want the best players to have the best chance of being around at the end of the season, and prolonging the regular season won't do it. Quality over quantity.

But if another player had said the same thing about Baker a year ago, this board would be in an uproar about "THE MOTHERFUCKER WHO SAID IT WAS RIDICULOUS THAT BAKER GOT DRAFTED #1 OVERALL I HOPE THAT PLAYER BLOWS BOTH ACLs AND GETS NOSE HERPES!" Baker is a great example of someone who "keeps it real" but then gets pissed when some people get mad over what he says. The "media got it wrong" play by Baker was textbook too.

I agree, it isn't looking good for Dorsey on this one. He'll probably stick around for another season because he was a Dorsey pick...

I've seen others try to say that the Browns are now looking at Corbett as the eventual replacement for Tretter… Seems like wishful thinking. And I'd love to meet some of the guys on here who like to throw the word "pussy" out on the regular to describe certain professional football players. Who knew this board had such a collection of badasses? 😁

This is definitely a three team race, and should be the entire season. Who knows, the Bengals might even start better than expected because of the jolt of new blood at head coach before settling back to their rightful place in the basement.
