I enjoyed the golf, just as much as seeing Baker being himself.. It was the man's 2nd wedding anniversary also
https://www.brownsnation.com/baker-and-emily-mayfield-celebrate-2-year-wedding-anniversary/ Baker & Barkley could do a weekly fashion podcast as far as I'm concerned 🤣
🙃

He was interviewed during that golf match between Brady and Rogers, wearing a shirt the broadcasters thought was a robe.

They ribbed him for it, but he said the right things when it came to preparing for the season and managing expectations. The shirt was pretty gay, though. 🤭

I always thought he sucked. Glad we got rid of him.
I was referring to Sam, not Nassib. Nassib was not out yet as a Brown.

Yup.... the Missou kid...
But what really hurt his stock was his 40 time... 4.91 for a 260-ish EDGE ain't gonna cut it.
Word was he really wasn't "into" football all that much, no real passion or work ethic, more interested in his celebrity for coming out, etc. Even with stellar physical skills, you have to put in your "all" to make it in the NFL. And with his borderline skills, it wasn't even close to him making it, with not pouring his all into it.

I always thought Nassib should have made the Brown's 53, you got to wonder if his orientation played a role in his dismissal, not that we will ever know.

So sad to hear. RIP Gip. Doesn't seem real.
Definitely had my share of disagreements with him mostly all silly ones. He was without a doubt a true diehard browns fan and I'm glad he got to see the successful season and playoff win last year. I will pray for peace for his family and close friends.
So sad. RIP.

...they need to get the job ALL the way done this time around. If not, it's a wasted opportunity.

I think our biggest competition is Green Bay. They too, obviously are a contender. I don't know about their money situation, but I have not heard that it may be a big impediment...maybe someone knows. They don't have a Myles Garrett, but they are decent on the DL But then, you talk about family. His parents live in Pewaukee Wisc....as suburb of Milwaukee. And which is actually closer to Green Bay that Pittsburgh is to Cleveland.
All true. I'm not sure he has much left, anyways.

I'm interested in the Watt wants to win where watch...
Going home to Green Bay with Rogers is his best landing spot imo.. a mere minus -28M over the cap
I'd really hate the Steelers... a mere minus -30M over the cap
stay tuned & Why not us ?
Pass.

"There's a gleam men." Best HC in Browns recent era (Super Bowl). He got screwed a lot during his career, including with the Browns.

What doesn't sound good? lol
He is now on the record saying he doesn't care what he's paid next season.
Sure, he doesn't.
I have no idea what they are going to do but AR2 said he can't be back on his current contract. Im personally expecting a steep discount and guys we thought might be gone coming back.
Hmmm, how steep?
John Clayton is also saying that because the cap didn't really go up he won't be surprised to see Dupree sign a very inexpensive deal (clayton said 6M) for one year to prove his knee is fine and then sign a bigger contract.
Pure speculation.
He's ahead of schedule and should be good to go for training camp. There is literally nothing bad happening with the Steelers right now until proven otherwise.
Nothing bad? Being burdened with a washed up QB, TONS of players walking on a team that went 1-4 down the stretch before being BLOWN OUT at home in the 1st week of the playoffs? You could be looking at the basement of north, at best 3rd place. Tomlin is likely to have his 1st taste of a losing season.

He will be back and I highly doubt he's paid what he's owed. If he really wants guys like juju back he's going to need to sign an extension on a qualifying level with voidable years and bring his hit down. Tomlin is also doing these hires in the right way, bringing in a line coach before he hires an OC to make sure they jive and the candidates are pretty good. Fraley for the line and possibly pep hamilton at OC. Ben has already said he wants to be back so the only way he doesn't return is if the Steelers don't want him.
Emmm, doesn't sound good.

Hell, they don't even know if Ben will be back.

Totally agree, draft should be all defense....outside maybe a backup o lineman.
And maybe a WR. Mid-round.

I really doubt he will be there.

I hope you at least read twitter. I'm serious when i say it, it's unrivaled for sports coverage but i'm not sure if the Browns have the same quality of reporting as the Steelers and I don't mean that in any type of way. Kareem Hunt is signing helmets, maybe they aren't talking about it now. I hope they aren't for your sake. I sometimes think i need a flip phone as i occasionally have a hard time getting off of mine. Lol. I instead recently upgraded to a iphone 12 pro max, the polar opposite of a flip. 😐
" I instead recently upgraded to a iphone 12 pro max"
Excellent.

Pitt favored by 4 to 4.5 right now.

Tough call - my hunch is, he didn't show up early on much.
But later turned it on. We don't know the story behind that - don't know if he was playing banged up early on...
but now he is toast for a while - out of the playoffs. That will change everything.

Olivier Vernon Suffers Ruptured Achilles, Which Devastates Browns On Multiple Fronts
An MRI has revealed that Cleveland Browns defensive end Olivier Vernon has suffered a ruptured Achilles' which not only ends his season, but raises questions about his future and the defensive end position for Browns next year.*******************************************I have felt all season that our DC has been brilliant - he just has a lack of talent out there for different reasons. And STILL made the PLAYOFFS ! He isn't going anywhere - been extremely successful elsewhere.
The D ended up right in the middle in rankings (16th). That isn't bad considering how many holes they had at LB and DB. Next year will most likely have upgrades in both units. They will focus on LB/DB heavy in the draft and add a few FAs as well.

Ebron out now.
-
Not a big deal for tomorrow's game (probably would have sat like most of their starters), but this means he will miss week 1 of playoffs, which will likely be against Cleveland.

Covid is not a physical injury- it's plain bad luck. Tell that to the Dolphins who won't have Fitzpatrick for the same problem. Or the Falcons without Mack.
As of now, Baker will have his entire compliment of WRs for the game. Stay healthy my friends, stay healthy.
As long as its Mason, no worries.

Baker's frilly shirt
in THE BROWNS BOARD
Posted
Unlike a few years ago, he truly sounds like he gets all the possible pitfalls of reacting to the press, good or bad. This team is levelheaded, with or without frilly silk shirts with polka dots on them.
