I said it before our game - they feasted on suspect secondaries and were able to get shots downfield which in turn opened up running lanes. They were also 100% healthy (almost Greenlaw out) prior to our game.

The play calls throughout his tenure leave a lot to be desired. I don’t fully expect anyone of us to be on board with most of the calls anyway. I’ll maintain that the HC and play calling/OC roles are too much for him. I did not like the TE shovel pass on that second goal line play. I was surprised by Kevin yesterday punting from their 45 (I believe) knowing the flow of game - putting faith in the punt team and the defense at the right time - that ultimately led to a TD and a FG at the end of half. His DC and ST coach additions have been great. Both units are performing much better from last year. to be 4-2 with what is probably bottom 5 QB play - is amazing. Ask Belichick if winning is easy with bad QB play.

The second play was a shuffle pass into the teeth of the defense with someone not named Hunt I believe. May as well have been a run. I don’t know…I’d take Hunt twice from the 1.

Green Bay Christmas Day non call.

Yeah we’ve been on the “let them play” side far too often…remember Christmas in Green Bay a few years back. It was contact. Don’t feel bad Browns fans. The Colts are a really solid team but their secondary is garbage. Hunt at the 1 with 30 seconds…no timeouts…I got two runs called…he’s by far one of the best weapons inside the 5…didn’t like three passes with the turnover machine behind center.

Gene was on the fence about it.

It is one game…but let’s not forget you can’t have the QB limitations and QB play like we had today and win a game.

His play and injury are costing this team big time. We have 30 points and a 1 point game with perhaps the worst QB play you will see all year. Defense needs to be accountable too. And a great gameplan by the Colts.
