Who are we rooting for tonight?

Elliot played a lot yesterday he hasn’t been a liability. We seem to do a better job covering the flats too. We were seemingly schematically allergic to that last season edit: Let me add Alex Wright he looked pretty good yesterday too

I know you guys love the Dline… But We have dawgs (the good kind) back in the secondary that were born to sit in hip pockets and run and cover the best so we are now putting them in man coverage (71% of time Sunday). No more soft cushions, deep thirds and pointing fingers and miscommunication.

The Turnover margin is bothering me…how many teams are -8 in their first five games and have a winning record. It is explainable. We had a rookie starting QB and a guy off the practice squad starting another game. The turnover margin can be an aberration or a sign of the team you have (careless with the ball). realistically we would be 4-1 if we protected the ball better. I thought we did a great job after the first drive limiting rushing yards. That is one of the best running teams in the NFL but I think the passing attack they have is a tad overrated and I mentioned they feasted on weaker secondaries before our game. But I was really impressed with the defensive adjustments after the first drives

Tomlinson had himself a game…I think it’s really easy to just point to his addition and Zadrius but EVERY single guy on that side of the ball is playing better football this year.

I’m just glad they fixed the short spot that clear as day looked like we had a first down otherwise I might have been with the fixed side myself.

No great Earthquake in San Diego…please. We had a tropical storm we were worried enough over a couple months ago. I went to the last Niner Browns game in SF…their fans are actually pretty tolerable and somewhat grounded considering the stable of Lombardis they have.

Yes it was - thank you. No use thinking about this matchup all week. The Browns heard enough about the great 9ers and brought the game to them.
