WR3? I would like a tall, sure handed!, red zone threat. Just my opinion.

    Hooper or Njoku?

Njoku is certainly not sure handed & we already have a plethora of shorter (6' & under) WRs. On the other side, I would also like some taller DBs who can tackle.

  2. I'm not tracking him, but am I the only one who thinks S Grant Delpit is over-rated? Missed tackles from a safety scare me like dropped passes from a TE. Some draft pundits have him as #1 Safety. I just don't see that. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Son-in-law bought a a arcade style game a guy he knows makes. It has the program for almost every game of the golden era from Pong on... literally thousands of them. And the full array of controllers... buttons, joystick, trac ball... you name it.

Can't wait to visit and finally get thru all 18 holes of Birdie King... :)

Tour, is "Birdie King" the game that had the big, knuckle busting roller ball on the front? If so, I loved the game but my knucks took a hell of a beating playing it. LOL

Yes,  these are ones still standing.  The Piggery,  the Colt Barn,  Barn No. 1 (which became Yoder Bros. HQ).   The Machinery, and  The Creamery....which is the "house" that Dutch said was purchased by a friend of his fiance's.   There may be a few others standing.

From what I understand, there were originally  like 35 or more buildings....all built in the early 1900s, but by  the late 60s, all but about a half dozen had been torn down.  As I said, an absolute lack of foresight on the part of the city, not knowing that what they had was a unique entity in America.  It could have been on the order of a Williamsburg had it been preserved,  but no, the city had to have its strip shopping and substandard housing to support the factory workers of the town.  Of course, now, most of those factories are gone or have gone from employing a couple of thousand to about 100 people.

Thank you. I saw them & recall thinking that there had to be something of a story behind them as they were SO different. The same could be said about "The Timken Stables" in Canton that Chris Spielman attempted to turn into a restaurant (a failed effort), which is now a Synagogue. I ate/drank there a few times. Here is a pic from those days...

That was such a neat place. Another was the old Quaker Oats Tower in Akron.

Isn't a good part of architecture about appearance?    This particular house was built by  OC Barber who between like 1890 and 1920  built a number of structures with similar style, including the mansion in the photo hereinabove.  He was a "Guilded Age" Industrialist who also created an experimental farm. As time went by, there came upon the town named after him...Barberton,  an incredible lack of foresight wherein the mansion was torn down and the area of the farm was built up into  shall we say, lesser quality housing and strip shopping areas.    However, a number of the structures were preserved that had that style.  I will give you a few photos and you can critique them:

    Here was his Pig barn:

Gip, are these structures still standing? I believe I've seen them in Barberton recently.

OK,....but  #3 and #1 conflict.   And by posting photos of the house in here, the "none of our business" proviso flew out the window.

(and are you telling me that your wife of  50 years never get into critiques of the decor of  houses other than your own?)

I'll meet ya halfway on this as there WERE pics of the house posted. As far as critiques of decor, it would be slight & just between the 2 of us.

I can't believe some of you guys criticizing another person's home!

It's Orion's home & he seems content with it.

O...Thanks for sharing. Your banner & home look fine.

    All in fun...more or less.

    You must not be married.

I take walks around the neighborhood with my wife, and it is a constant "review" process of the appearance of other peoples properties.

    1) Oh, I understand it was all in fun, but I have just always been uncomfortable with folks OR their belongings being made fun of.

    2) Slightly wrong! My Bride & I will be married 50 years  as of 7/18/2020.

    3) As we do, but we keep our opinions to ourselves. We are both believers in "To each their own",  "None of our business", & "But for the grace of God, there go I".

Here is this week's Survey.  Give your answers/opinions:

    1. Who was the best draft choice the Browns have made in the last 20 years   (say since 1999)

       Joe Thomas

    2. Who was the worst draft choice the Browns made the last 20 years?  (since 1999)

       Justin Gilbert

    3. Some draft prospects have had issues with questionable drug tests.     Is that still an issue with you?

Yes, as it makes me question their intelligence & decision making.

    4. Are you looking forward to the upcoming draft  being conducted without all the hoopla that has become associated with them the last few years, with them going all over the country?

I am. This draft will be very interesting.

    5. The XFL  has died.....again.   Before finishing the season.   Filed Bankruptcy....and will not return.   Thoughts about that?

       I'm not surprised.

Don't care for Brown pants, but I LOVE the two on the left and the classic design.

Actually if they got rid on the white jersey on the browns pants, and just used the color rush once a year, I'd call it a home run. Don't know why they had to add the white on brown.

Agreed. Much better than the space suits we had. Imho, simpler is better.

The Browns clearly aren't going to offer a 2nd round pick for Williams UNLESS something fantastically crazy like Simmons or Okudah falling to them. IMOP, If they offered a 2nd right now, the skins would take it and clearly they are not willing to give up that much. EVEN IF the scenario above happens, I think the Browns would be more inclined to try to trade back into the first or beginning of the second to get their guy and then sign Peters off the street for a 1 or 2 year deal to help acclimate the new LT. Finally, I think Callahan is a big reason why the Browns have not made the deal yet. If he thought that he was worth a 2nd round pick PLUS giving a massive new deal to rather than drafting a young LT, I think Berry would have made it happen. Williams has not played a full season in 7 years...think about that. Plus, he's 32 and wants top shelf money. I think the Browns are playing this the right way. It's all going to depend on how the draft falls and how much the skins are willing to cave.

    I agree 100%!

If the Browns "chosen one" is not there at 10, Peters has been my short term fallback for quite awhile. We're less than 2 weeks from finding out.

  11. Hope all had a Happy Easter.

Canton Dawg, Prayers are with you & get well soon.

I am requesting Prayers for our eldest Daughter, who found out Friday that she has stage 1 bladder cancer. The good news is that it is very treatable with a good prognosis as they caught it very early.
