  1. I can't thank you enough, that you brought out the Internet tough guy thing again. I needed this. Will we fight with weapons, like on Anchorman?
  2. I noticed. Do you think they...never mind.
  3. If they don't win by 20, then there is reason for concern. They should blow the Bungs out, 34-10 or something like that. Cinci didn't get the 1st pick overall in the draft because they are good.
  4. I can barely decipher your gibberish. Your new hobby should be education.
  5. Mr. Fart, that's Canal Fulton material all the way.
  6. Perhaps, but name all the QBs who became good after regressing his 2nd and 3rd year compared to their rookie year. Jim Plunket, maybe? It's a short list. We all made excuses for 2019. But he just hasn't got any better even with a real coach instead of Freddie Ass Clown and an improved OL and TE.
  7. Yea, another childish act that is no big deal. How about screaming at Steeler fans during a game where his team is being demolished? Yea, real smart. If a Pop Warner player did that it would be considered childish and immature. Think about that.
  8. He's dangerously close to no one giving an F right now. He keeps up with 2 grabs for 25 yards, he will be forgotten sooner than later. Does he have any clue to how offensive saying "Covid can't touch me, we have an understanding" to those who lost loved ones to Covid? He isn't 10 years old why is he so childish?
  9. And then he came out and said the stuff about covid....wow, just wow.
  10. Fresh off the sports talk shows today, OBJ was the top story on "Undisputed, with Skip and Shannon." Apparently OBJ made a statement comparing himself to the GOAT, Tom Brady. He said white guys can freak out and people will say it's just a sign of being a leader. If OBJ does the same thing, he is vilified. Then Skip just destroyed him, saying OBJ throws tantrums in a childish way for selfish reasons and doesn't really care about the team. Brady does it to get the team in line. OBJ has a long line of examples of acting like a total baby. Not good for team unity at all. And his 2 catches for 25 yards surely doesn't make up for it. Oh, and the LSU thing came up. Wow, what horrid judgement. WTF is wrong with him?
  11. Well, I'm not saying there are decent options to move him now - never suggested that. But, he didn't just take his shoes off, he went on to scream and trash talk Steeler fans. Why? SMH
  12. It's not one event, it's the childish string of immature acts that's worth considering. Wait and see: Browns will ditch him next year for his immaturity.
  13. I don't know, are you a leader if you take your shoes off with 8 minutes left in the game?
  14. https://brobible.com/sports/article/odel-beckham-jr-cleats-fans/ Yea, yea, yea. Some will say "This isn't a big deal" - just like all his other antics when looked at in singularity. And maybe it isn't....in itself. But I can't help but thinking this is more of the same; more things that are not congruent with winning teams. Did the Browns lose because OBJ took his shoes off? Of course not. But it is more behavior that showcases immaturity and lack of control, traits which do not lead to a contending team, in the long run. Do you think coach Stef was happy with OBJ taking his shoes off with 8 minutes left in the game and talking smack with fans? I kind of doubt it.
  15. The point is, Baker ain't a franchise QB. After his rookie season, he looked like he could very well develop into one, but since he has not evolved or improved, he has regressed. And now in his 3rd year, he looks nothing like a franchise QB. If you can shut down the rush, Browns have little chance. The Balt. and Pgh games illustrated that.
  16. THIS. For whatever reason, Baker is not improving. I thought he was the real deal, but I'm not sure now.
  17. Yea, and like all things, that trend can go either way: Some QBs get figured out but counter and overcome the adjustments teams make on them. Usually, after a QB tears it up one season, they won't be as effective the next (See L. Jackson this year). Marino never saw his 1984 #s again, however, he still remained an elite QB his entire career; Other QBs, never overcome the adjustments. As of now, Baker looks like the latter. Rick Mirer never did as well: a promising rookie year and then trash from there on. I think some of it (not all) comes down to how hard the player is willing to work.
  18. I'll get beat up for this, so be it. But I think most of us have worked for good and bad companies. When you're with a "bad" company, you lose your enthusiasm, and get beat down...and just stop having as much fire to do well because you know it doesn't matter. But to be fair, has Baker lost his credibility to some of extent? He had his litttle pow wow before the game, and I'm not sure many are buying in anymore. But I still blame upstairs. If your whole team operates in hypocrisy, it infects everything. The employees lose their drive.
  19. Danny didn't win a sausage but they had almost all winning records, always in the playoffs. From '83 to '99, the Fins had a total of one losing season with Marino. ONE. And had some 14-2, 12-4 type season along the way. I don't need to tell you Browns fans would kill for that kind of stretch. 166 years and only one losing season, and that might have been the year Dan was out. True, they only made it to one Show in that span, and didn't win, bt that's still quite impressive.
  20. How did you conclude that? Two years ago, the Rams had a running game and made the SB. Last year the 9ers had a running game and made it. Those teams could pass because the rush made Ds bring up the safeties. Your better team throw under 30 x a game, usually if you are throwing 40 plus, you lose. Big Ben threw a mere 22 x and put up 38 and it could have been worse. 22. That's how Pitt wins. Rushing does matter for most teams. It's just that when you do throw, you need a QB who hits 65% or better. Can Baker do that?
  21. I mean....really? I mean, did anyone think the Browns could win by scoring 7 points in 3 quarters of play? They needed plus 30 to have a chance.
  22. OK, you can't NOT keep making 1st downs and think you can beat the Steelers. Sooner or later, they will put together another TD drive.
