  1. And the rest of the AFC will celebrate. How many playoff games has he won in a decade? He's a fraud. All he's good for are snappy quips but has zero substance. All he has is hollow words. "We are gonna bring hell in December." (didn't win another game). "We are gonna defend every blade of grass." (got his ass kicked next game)
  2. Even if LA hasn't been great, they are still a bigger challenge with the Jets and their backup QB. Got to play better than that.
  3. That's season ending if it is a torn pec. No way you can play with that.
  4. It's a civil case, those don't involve law enforcement whatsoever.
  5. Pats cut AB. That fool will be broke in a year. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/09/20/antonio-brown-is-cut-by-the-patriots/ Browns aren't considering him, are they? That would be a monster bonehead move.
  6. I've had some of my Browns insiders text me on this. I really don't know why they would go this direction. They have enough volatile players as is.
  7. Really? History is littered with athletes who fall down after getting too entrenched with sideline distractions. You don't realize this? Have you not seen Rocky 3?
  8. It's not about "who says what" it's about what has truth to it. Baker had 13 commercials and 9 magazine articles in the offseason. Has he looked prepared to you in the 1st two weeks? Can you answer that with honesty?
  9. Today he was saying Baker's off-field distractions are hurting his game. He said he was doing too many commercials and things. Said Lamar Jackson was doing no commercials or anything like that, and he was obviously spending time in the weight room instead. He feels you need to focus on being great before you focus on building your brand. We shall see if he's right or not.
  10. Lynch is hot garbage on an August afternoon.
  11. Threw for 4,283 yards his Sr. year at Samford and over 70% completion %. I bet he's better than the newly added Lynch. You never know when an unheralded, undrafted QB makes some news. Certainly not often though.
  12. No, not with the above 2 out.
  13. They will do just enough to keep Tomlin, everyone in the AFC celebrates. It would be scary if they had a HC like even Harbaugh. Hell, if Hoodie coached that team they'd win rings. If they win 8 games, Tomlin will be lauded.
  14. Replacing Davis was a blessing for Pitt, he was horrid but Steelers' brass wouldn't admit it. But Minka better be pro bowl level or it's a bad move. I doubt Rudolph will be what Ben was. Can he pull out wins like Ben did all the time? Also, Edmunds not looking like a good 1st-round pick. He's always out of position. No instincts. Yea, he's big and fast, so what?
  15. I know I am dating myself, but didn't that play remind you of the hit Browns put on Don Beebe in the playoffs? It was the season before the Bills got really good. He's so lucky he walked away.
  16. http://www.nfl.com/teams/losangelesrams/statistics?team=LA I worry about LA's top 3 WRs. Sure they can cover 1 well, maybe 2, but all 3? Kupp Cooks and Woods? Plus Gurley is healthy for now. Sure, Garrett will have his moments...but Malcom Brown is rushing for the same apc (5.3) as Todd. Put it this way: Browns must progress and play better than they have so far this season or a win will be tough to nab. Freddie better learn quick, on the job. Real quick.
  17. They got to get Baker more open to hitting the open man instead of always trying to hit a big play. He is pushing too much so far.
  18. So, you don't have a FB. If it was a position that mattered, they'd have signed another one. What? If a positional player gets hurt, you just give up and don't sign another player to take his place? If FB mattered to the Browns they would have signed another. Fact is, you don't need a FB to have a prolific rushing game.
  19. I agree. No cohesion, just backyard football, or worse. Baker needs to chill, he's pressing.
  20. Jackson is a freak athlete. I bet he stays healthy for 3 years. All that team needs is 2 bombs a game, like Randell Cunningham's Eagles.
  21. Baker does need to chill out a bit, he's too amped up and you can tell. But I'd rather have a QB who is too amped than one who is feckless.
  22. You can live in denial if you wish, but the Ravens have proven they can rush and pass so far (against weak opponents). And they have the best D in the NFL so far.
  23. Then.......Browns fan loses its collective mind. I'd worry about the team thinking they have arrived too soon though. But certainly, a win vs. the Rams will be meaningful.
  24. Most teams don't have a FB, but that doesn't mean they don't have a better rushing attack than 70 yards a game. The Ravens lead the league in rushing, by far. Guess what? No FB listed on their roster. Indy is #2 best rushing team, no FB. And so on. Come Nov., the Browns better hope they have a rushing game, or not good.
  25. I don't know. The sports talking heads are saying Baker had to run for his life all game. I watched every play, and I also felt he was facing a good deal of pressure most of the night. If it is true that the OL play isn't that good, we will find out next week vs. the Rams and Aaron Donald. If the OL is as solid as some claim, the Rams won't put a paw on Baker, or not many, any how.
