The Gipper
I gotta gety pick in, and I doubt the 49ers switch to this guy..... The SD Chargers select Brandon Doughty - QB - W. Kentucky I think we are waiting for TXag to pick again for 49ers......but since I have to go do business....I will make my pick here for the Vikings: The Minnesota Vikings select: Tom Hackett Punter Utah. It is a need for them, though in reality they may just get one from the UFA pool. But since there has been a small run on punters, I don't want them to get shut out.....and he is considered one of the top ranked players on the board. TexasAg1969
49rs selected a guard/center in Glasgow....will pick next best at position.... so we can keep going Denver Kirkland - OG - Arkansas No problem--he (Kirkland) was my second choice (by a coin flip) and Glasgow was hidden with the centers and not OG on the by position thread. Just didn't see he was gone.

Unsympathetic
The Fins need 2 starting guards, that's their #1 priority this offseason.. over CB, actually. Dolphins take the guy next to Brendel - Alex Redmond, G, UCLA Conveniently he was rated a 4th round pick, their war room is happy.

gftChris
Ha. What I meant was, the bad parts of his game are the eminently coachable parts - pad level you can coach, angle of pursuit you can coach. Instincts you can't, that speed you can't, that height you can't. He has the height to roll with the TEs if needed and speed to go with receivers. Could be very versatile and give Ds a lot of ways to mix up their looks.

Unsympathetic
FlyinJ with the value pick of the draft.. I didn't check players expected that high even when looking for safety help.. Figured there's no way a 1st-rounder would slide that far.. Jets may want to grab another T in the next couple of rounds because Ferguson retired this morning..
