I don't see the fear. Both will be good, they're just two different players.

I know... It's because you do not see the "great" in one of them that I do.

Not going to pretend it's really and truly there, but I see what I see....

lol... well then I see very great in one...

Earlier when you said they'd both be good, I thought that was your ceiling for them...

Leave it at this...

I see a difference between them great enough to create an imperative to land one... and that one is Goff.

That's what I don't see, personally.

I don't see any indications that would point to a deficiency in Wentz's ability to retain information, nor do I see a generational ability in Goff. Both can be very good, but neither are likely to be Tom Brady.

And I respect that... just don't see it that way.

Mike,

I get that Goff's not perfect, but a string of an interception and three incompletion gifs will not dissuade me. Not when I have 977 completions to choose from... over half again more than Wentz backers have attempts to choose from.

So Goff's arm has much more wear ;)

I'll explain in my reports. It's complicated

"I wish somebody would start some rumor to get (Jared) Goff to fall in the draft. Let's get that small-hand talk going! We would take him tomorrow. He's the best quarterback in this draft and it's not as close as the media is making it sound." -- NFC executive on the Cal QB

I'm not a betting man but I'd feel pretty confident that came from the Rams. They need a QB, someone to sell to their new fan base. A California kid from just up the road sounds like it ticks all of the boxes.

Good to see Lance is a man of his word and did not use my name...

I may be going blind but no Wentz in that list?

When Tom Brady was drafted nobody thought he was likely to be Tom Brady.

Tour-buried in you link was this first mock draft by Cris Collinsworth. He has LA trading into #1 to get ahead of the Browns for Wentz-interesting. I personally don't see the Titans willing to trade that far down, but his take on Wentz being the better long term QB vs. the more NFL ready is interesting.
