I feel like they didn’t change the game plan at all today for DTR, just calling the game as if it was Watson playing.

It kind of makes sense. Baptism by fire.

Rookie QBs typically struggle. At least he played 4 years at UCLA, a big benefit of course.

We needed to crush the Ravens, probably our biggest division threat. The Browns have to win these division games more than any other. Until we do that, it will always be the same old Browns.

Our biggest threat is the person in charge of our offense.

Preseason made a lot of you guys think that DTR wasn't still a VERY raw rookie.  And there were some of you calling for him to start.

.... something something, what you wish for.

Anyone who thought DTR would be better than Watson out of the gate eats paint chips and fucks their sisters.

Moving forward, because of how aggressive Schwartz calls his fronts into gaps, playing 'bigger' RB's is our M.O.  We feast on them.    The Najee's, Henry's, Mixons', Walker, Williams.... those backs take a couple steps to get going.  A large reason why we enjoyed such success against TEN, PIT and CIN early.  On top of their suspect Olines.

But with the gap exchange and the spill n kill we like to play, this means this more 'compact' backs such as Edwards and Justice Hill today, they can plant and turn upfield a bit faster.    So the LB's and DB's have been sort of caught in situations where they're blowing tackles.  This is why Jaylen Warren was picking up yards against us where Najee' would fail too.

Right now, the LB situation is still a bit troubling.  Not as bad as last year, but don't fool yourself thinking it's night and day.

I'll be in .... HERE,  https://discord.gg/8msnr5pC    rest of the game, should anyone want to join in.
