The Browns selected Baker Mayfield with the first overall pick in last month’s draft. Rosen slid to No. 10, where Arizona traded up to get the UCLA product.

“It’s amazing that you can pull a red flag from something with literally zero information,” Rosen said. “Like, he literally pulled absolutely no information from this encounter and it managed to be a red flag.”

Russ (Ballpeen) never took sides back then, but he always said that a DT (fatmouthed Shaun Smith) doesn't punch your QB in the mouth if they respect him. 

That was a weird and hard time to be a diehard Browns fan -- but the board at the time made it a bit tolerable.

YEP. Exactly. But one mod happily allowed the one side to sneak in, I know, because I (I was born a goofy comedian child) - posted an opposite view (both pictures of people....that also was bad), and only mine got deleted.

   Really? I was never allowed to play per my surgeon who rebuilt my knee in the summer before the ninth grade. I mean, ridiculing somebody else..for disagreeing with them because they are in a wheelchair????????????

From a true talent (lack of) perspective, the worst QB I ever watched the Browns trot out there was Kizer and IMO it's not even close. I've truly never watched worse QB play in my life, I don't care how bad that 2017 team was.

FYI, there's 4 moderators here..  Besides myself, there's mjp, RifferX, and uber Moderator Westside Steve. 

& allow me to explain.  It would be a grey area as to what's "a political post" or not. I sure don't have the time- and neither do the other three Mods to read and potentially sensor every thread and post.  I hope it won't get him in trouble, but the hamster YouTube was a very clever dig at a certain poster.  

Since you're relatively new here, I became a Mod out of necessity.  I worked 2nd shift for decades, so I could keep an eye on the goings on late at night.  Some pissed off Jets fan thought it would be funny to post some pretty vile porn on the website at 2AM, and there wasn't a damn thing I could do about it at the time. So I became the Night Watchman of the Board. 

RE: the bold... If your political POV is different than mine, fine- but be an adult about it. Repeated personal insults and attacks are SOP there if you have the wrong POV. I will say this- if the Political forum was Moderated on the level of respect we ask for here... 1\2 the posters on that Forum would be permanently banned. And not for their political POVs.... They'd be banned for acting like assholes, and immature ones at that. They behave that way because a certain Moderator lets them get away with it. FWIW, for the time being, I've had enough of the shit that goes on there, I need a mental break from it.

2 Cents.    I like it here because the mods are pretty cool.  They let ya go off topic.  They let ya say stuff.  It's a cool place.

Political boards:   The political country is in a major divide.   The democrats absolutely hate republicans.  And it's the same in reverse.  The two groups CANNOT discuss with one another.  You would have to have TWO political forums.  One for dems and one for republicans.   To bring them together is just gonna make people dislike one another to the core.  

I never go to that forum.  I wouldn't be able to make anyone from the opposing point of view understand what I think is proper and isn't.....and I would just learn to hate, what, 50% of you?

You can't have a guns vs non guns forum.  You can't have a religion forum.  You can't have an abortion forum.  Etc.   You are not allowed to discuss third rail topics at work because it destroys morale and pisses people off.

I've always found this story of yours very interesting. 

You hurt your knee so bad, I'm guessing sometime in the mid/late 1960s, that it required knee surgery. Your doctor forbade you from playing football for the entirity of your high school years, I'm guessing because one injury to your surgically-repaired knee could be catastrophic. Back when knee surgery was in its infancy. 

Then you graduate high school, pass a physical, and join the Air Force. 

Must have been a miracle knee, I guess.
