Since Dutch referenced the 1988 Browns, here is the Week 16 game vs the Oilers. The Browns were down 23-7 and scored three second half TDs to win 28-23. Don Strock, in his 15th season threw for 326 yards. Browns vs Oilers Since we never got televised Browns games in Central Indiana, my Grandma would tape them and send them to us. Don Criqui and Bob Trumpy are the voices of my childhood.

Correct. HOWEVER, if MIA does beat BAL the Browns need to play for that #1 seed.
-
The Ravens have not yet locked up the Number 1 seed. They have locked up a playoff spot. Here's how the Browns can still get the #1 seed.
-
A win vs the Jets, not dependent on anything else taking place, clinches the playoff spot.

Had Boar's Head Uncured Kielbasa, Pepper Jack Cheese, Pickled Beets and Pickles on meat tray. Shrimp with St. Elmos Cocktail Sauce. Post Script: My family, with our NW PA roots, are the only people in German-dominant Indiana that pronounce kielbasa properly - kielbassie.

I agree 100%. I cannot stand it. Here comes the but.... Football, compared to all other sports, gets the least games and the least opportunities to play. Travel baseball players play as many games in a two day tournament as most HS FB players play in a single season. FB has the shortest season and the longest off-season, even though I hate excessive celebrations, I think the guys have earned. Plus, if it makes them feel like they play their best I am all for it. The most intimidating thing on a FB field is a man that makes a great play and nobly goes back to the huddle or the sideline like he expects himself to do so every time. Not everyone is wired that way.

Correct. The board reshuffles every round depending on the seeds.

Here is how the table is set and here are remaining schedules: BAL - at 49ers, vs Dolphins, vs Steelers MIA - vs Cowboys, at Ravens, vs Bills KC - vs Raiders, vs Bengals, at Chargers JAX - at Buccaneers, vs Panthers, at Titans Browns - at Texans, vs Jets, at Bengals CIN - at Steelers, at Chiefs, vs Browns IND - at Falcons, vs Raiders, vs Texans 8. HOU - vs Browns, vs Titans, at Colts 9. BUF - at Chargers, vs Patriots, at Dolphins 10. PIT - vs Bengals, at Seahawks, at Ravens There is still much to determine, the only thing the Browns can control is the opponent in front of them.

Of course, I'm a homer, but those are wild stats for an organization with a HOF TE, that went to the AFC Championship three times in four years, that had a few of solid WRs in the 90s and has had some WR talent in the last quarter century.

After digesting, here are a few things that stick out: 1) The Bears' return yards on INTs hurt. They had to be close to 80-90 yards. 2) There is holding every play, but Myles Garrett has an OL hanging on his inside shoulder every other play. I can't believe the NFL allows this to continue. 3) When a QB initiates a slide, whether it be the knee dropping, the shin being parallel to the ground or the shin angle being negative, the slide must continue. If it does not, it should be unsportsmanlike conduct. 4) The swing of emotion I had from get sacked, recover the fumbled punt to INT was no fun. 5) The Locker Room should be proud and stay focused. A lot of Legos got tossed into the build today and they made it work.

My brother shared a clip over Instagram on the North Cotswold Browns Backers. Are any of our English friends on this board a part?

Quietly a Hall of Fame Career is Unfolding on Our Offensive Line
AP1 replied to Flugel's topic in THE BROWNS BOARD
Of the three Browns whose careers are on a HOF trajectory, he's easily the most inconspicuous and most reliable. I'd also wager in the digital age, where Jason Kelce has sucked the O2 out of the room with his podcast and the newfound Taylor Swift fans the NFL forced and Zack Martin being considered the greatest LG of all time for about three seasons now, he is the most unsung OL of this generation.
